Package arrived after week, ten days in good shape but costing 100 bucks shipping. At that price it could have arrived a little faster. Unboxed unit to find both tires flat and one headlight not working. Aired up tires charged battery and had the daughter take for drive around block. She got back all smiles and i decided dad should try it. Around the block i went. Seems like a nice unit i wont even complain on bad headlight daughters happy im happy shipping doesnt seem quite so bad now. I go in daughter takes scooter to gmas house literally 3 houses down street from us. Phone rings daughter says dad walk down here and listen to my scooter somethings wrong. So i walk down to find the motor making horrible grinding noise. Put rear of scooter on block and tried power to motor, noise still there even with no weight on scooter. Also noticed while on block the motor would run weak than surge only to go back to weak repeating this cycle. Trucked it home boxed it up send it back. Now have another week or two to make sure i get refunded and another week or two for ordering different scooter in after refunded. Daughters summer will be up and no real good done trying to get her, her own transport for the summer. Lots of effort time money wasted to go less than a quarter mile all in economy mode. ... show more

I've been using this scooter for about three weeks for commuting and running errands, and I'm very happy with it. It arrived well packaged, was easy to assemble in about 15 minutes, and was ready to ride after charging overnight. The acceleration is smooth, and the motor provides plenty of power without feeling too aggressive. I weigh around 170 lbs, and it maintains speed well on flat roads while handling moderate hills with ease. The large pneumatic tires and suspension make the ride comfortable, absorbing bumps from uneven sidewalks and rough pavement much better than I expected. The battery life has been reliable for my daily commute, only requiring charging every few days with normal use. Naturally, riding at higher speeds or climbing more hills reduces the range, but that's expected. I also like the bright display, which is easy to read in sunlight, and the responsive brakes that provide confident stopping power. Hey guys so i just did a test run for specifically this Freeboy j11 scooter and im impressed with the speed of the scooter. However after doing some research and this test run i discovered that the battery isnt as strong as i thought it would be. Mainly because it was advertised that it could go 37 miles in range. My results show that the freeboy J11 electric scooter did not in fact even make it close to 30 miles but rather touched on the 23.5 mile marker making this scooter completely false advertisement. The ride was smooth however ive noticed that upon curbs and bumps it would slow down and then speed up so this scooter is mainly for short distances. If you just so happen to ride youll notice the slowdown effect and its only taken me a hour to get to my destination. Id keep it if your looking to get the edge in the city but traveling from city to city might push the battery to death so be wise when your out and about. ... show more
