Handle bar connection snapped after 6 weeks of my 11yr old riding around on our neighborhood’s pavements. He was lucky that he was not at top speed but still took a tumble as the handlebar collapsed as he was riding. I have reached out to the supplier and have received no response. I bought this scooter about 3 months ago as a daily commuter. It takes me to and from the train station and home & work. I think it has been a good fit for me, but it may not necessarily be for everyone. Pros It goes pretty fast compared to most other scooters and bikes. I'm comfortable at full speed and usually pass everyone easily, which saves me time. The ride is pretty stable. The platform has enough room to place feet side by side even, and the shocks and tires absorb a pretty good amount of bumps, rocks, and whatever crap is on the road. It is pretty well built, for the most part, despite a few quirks. Even though it's not an issue for me, it has a big battery that provides plenty of range. I ride around10 miles daily and always at full speed and don't even go through half the battery. It has some nice enhancements like the lights (front & back), fender to prevent water from spraying your back, a case that provides space for cable lock, etc Cruise control saves you from having to hold down the paddle. There are actually 2 built in GPS trackers and a scooter lock function on top of it, so theft is unlike. The brakes are pretty good, but are becoming a little more noisy now. Apparently you can make some adjustment to address that problem. Cons The day after I ordered it, they removed the $130 fee for shipping and the non-returnable requirement. This may have come back again(?), but it meant that I ended up paying at least $50 more because of one day. There are a few poor design choices. First, when folded the hook is extremely hard to get it right, and easily comes off. I don't even fold it anymore. Then, there is the handle which has a medal clamp that goes right against the inside of your thumb. And, lastly, the display rounds up to the nearest mile and does not show the total mileage (only in the app). It is quite heavy. You will not want to carry the scooter very far, especially given the above mentioned hook that is supposed to hold it folded and it often just comes off. It is bigger and higher than most other scooters, so you better check the size before you buy if you are planning on putting inside the trunk of your car. The default speed is set at the slowest and it matters because when it turns off then it goes to default automatically. The kick stand sometimes will disengage with just a slight move forward and the scooter may fall. In a handful of occasions the power simply didn't respond, then after a second attempt would suddenly work again. I would recommend thinking through your needs, as this could be a great choice for its priced and the features it gives you, but there some trade offs to consider as well, mostly when it comes weight and size. ... show more
