This scooter goes pretty fast at its highest setting, way faster than the supermarket ride on carts. Just be aware that you will use more battery power at top speed than at lower speed settings. I recommend this scooter for anyone in need of this type of mobility product. I have problems walking long distances due to levoscoliosis, hip dysplasia and lower back issues. Love it. Not able to walk any distance anymore, so if going anywhere where a cart isn't available, very handy. Not the best on rough ground but will go. Disassembles and re-assembles easily. Fits easily in back of my Honda CRV.
