I use the hot comb to touch up my edges and roots between washes, as I live in a very hot and humid climate. I was blown away by the texture that I was able to achieve with this hot comb. I may have to have a memorial service for my old gold’n hot electric hot comb. I can truly tell the difference. It works very good but I still had to ude the flat iron. It didnt smooth my curly hair as much as I would have liked but still did a good job. FYI, I didnt use the hottest setting was little chicken as my hair is curly but fine not real thick so didnt want to chance burning it so maybe a hotter setting may have done better. ... show more

I like that it’s easy to use and you can control how hot you would want it…. But I do think that how the combs are made they could’ve been a little thinner with a little more space not too much just a little but overall I like it because it’s durable…
