We use a more powerful 300W motor with a top speed of 4.97 mph, which is faster than a regular 4.2 mph 3-wheel scooter. The battery capacity is 12 AH and the standard range is at least 10 miles per charge. Climbing angle is up to 8 degrees.

The height-adjustable seat can easily be customized to relax your legs, brings you a comfortable driving experience. The electric scooter is also surrounded by two padded armrests which can be adjusted forward or backward for greater convenience when getting on or off the scooter.

Located on the tiller console, the control panel allows you to change from a forward to a reverse direction. Nice compact scooter. However, In User Manual it clearly states both headlight & taillights should both come on when pushed once for on, twice for off. It doesn’t !! NOTE: if they want to talk night driving saftey, the front and rear lights on the Metro Mobility M2 should both stay on when the light button is pushed. The scooter features a full lighting system for nighttime safety, including a bright LED headlight and rear brake lights. They both should stay on when light button is turned on PERIOD. Huge engineering SAFETY FLAW !! Light Operation Details: * Toggle Switch: The lights are typically operated by a toggle button (often blue) on the control panel, where you press it once to turn them (plural) on and again to turn them (plural) off. * Constant On: Once activated, the lights (again plural) are designed to STAY ON to provide visibility in low-light conditions. While it worked it was great. I loved the scooter. There was a problem with the key ignition and contacted the seller. They referred me to the warranty company and they said they would take care of it. I contacted them 2 weeks later and they deleted the email.

Tire & tube had to be replaced after just 4 months. This scooter was used on inside hard service only. There is no reason for them to go bad that quick unless they were defective. I called the company that I bought it from and they said that 1 tire and tube was $55.00. I ordered 2 from Amazon for $31.99. Beware of these companies that sell on Amazon. ... show more

So far so good! I received my new scooter and I Love it. Absolutely love the smooth ride it has. We live in the country with dirt paths, lots of rocks and pine cones to maneuver thru, this has such a smooth ride, I no longer feel like I'm riding a jackhammer. It manuvers very well, hopefully it will be easier on my body. I'm on my first battery charge so I can't give feedback on how long the charge will last yet.
