I've had it mounted a few weeks and am very happy with it, especially the amount of heat it puts out. It's mounted in my bedroom, which is normally pretty drafty, but is now warm and toasty. I wish it wss a little quieter but for the amount of heat it generates , I'll take it. The colors are nice and adds a nice ambiance to the room. Don't expect the "flames" on this to look like the listing, which has clearly been photoshopped to make the flames look like they fill the space ... they definitely do NOT, not even close. Several of my neighbors have these, theirs are long and short but my space required one which was more "tv size", and this one was the exact size I needed for the space I had, had fairly good reviews, and despite being pretty inexpensive (which concerned me) I decided to get it. It arrived well packaged and undamaged. When I unpacked it, I tried it out and it worked, so I had it installed. I was a bit concerned that there would not be enough crystals, but there were plenty. I started going through all the choices of colors for the base and the flames, of which there are many. But my problem is that the flames, even at the highest setting of L5, are only perhaps 2-3 inches tall, taking up only about 1/5 of the bottom of the screen area. And that's with the orange flames, which seem to look the tallest, the other colors do not look even that tall. That's a whole lot of empty blackness above! I contacted the seller, who advised me that this is normal functioning of the device. So overall, I'm pretty disappointed in the unit, overall. Even if the flames were brighter, I would be happier, but they are not really even all that bright. Other units I have seen have might brighter flames. This one just underperforms. It's not horrible, it's just not very impressive ... at all. ... show more
