This is a fun scope to shoot with. It’s a short range scope designed for 22LR plinking. Theres a lot of high end features on this very affordable sight. The flip up dust caps being one. The illuminated reticle is another and offers the red or green option which to me is a big plus. I like the green in high light conditions and the red suits lower light as in evening or overcast days. The turrets are high quality, well sealed, and zero resettable. The optic lenses are clear and easy to look through. This is my first experience with this brand but I’m impressed at the quality of this unit. I intend to check them out to see what they offer for long range sights. I would purchase again and I recommend this for small caliber short range shooting. I believe this would also work great for the high power air guns on the market today. ... show more

    • Great little scope!
I have this mounted on my Ruger 10-22 Take-down Tactical Folder. I was looking for something small and light to compliment the rifle, something that could get tossed around a little bit as this rifle is usually dismantled and riding behind the bench of my truck. I wanted something that could take a bit of a beating and still hold zero, especially for targets within 100 yards. This scope does just that, and does it very well. Easily adjustable for windage and elevation, super clear distortion free glass and nicely etched illuminated grid. Getting it zeroed took a little biot of time on this particular rifle, mostly because take-down models tend to be slightly less accurate than their fixed barrel counterparts. Some were low, some were high, so splitting the distance at 100' should be good enough for government work. This far, I am very impressed with CVLife products and have no problem recommending them to anyone in the market. ... show more

    • Not a bad scope for the price.
I had some doubts with this scope at first. I mounted it on my Ruger .22 caliber rifle and took it to the range. The adjustment knobs turned easily and the sight was easy to zero. The lens show a clear picture and the crosshairs are fairly good. Both red and green illumination worked fine and both are great on low light or hazy days. As far as toughness, well my rifle slipped off the bench and fell to the ground. The scope was not damaged in any way and functioned quite well. The scope came with a mount, star keys, 2 batteries and a cleaning cloth. Personally, the only downside would be the lack of a quick change mount for the sight. But, that's more of a preference than a valid complaint. I can pick one up at another time. I would recommend this sight to anyone looking for a good budget piece. ... show more

    • A very nice scope at an excellent price point
I mounted this 4x20 scope on my 22 long rifle. It is a very nice optics piece. The clear lens lets plenty of light in for targeting even under low light. I like the green reticle, and the red is also nice. There are 5 levels of illumination for each color. The cantilever mount allowed me to install the scope without having to remove the rear sight, which is a plus. It allows me to use the iron sites if wanted. The scope is made of quality black anodized aluminum, including all caps, mount, and adjusters. The optics are coated and sealed against moisture. Folding lens caps protect the scope when not in use. There is no noticeable vignetting or focal roll-off on the edges, making a clean field of view from the edges to center of frame. Overall, this is a great scope. It offers very good quality of build, great optics, and a flexible mount. It offers great functionality and value for the price. ... show more

    • Eye relief makes scope almost useless.
I have this scope mounted on a 22.lr rimfire rifle. The scope has a nice mount, feels well made, and looks crisp. But several features overshadow those and make the scope nearly unusable. The main problem is the eye relief. There isn't any. I have this scope mounted all the way to the rear of my rifle yet I still have to crane my neck forward and pull the gun back nearly past my shoulder to get a full view through the scope. The vignetting is absolutely terrible on top of that. I was able to get relatively consistent shots on the target, but with all the eyestrain from using the scope the shooting experience was less than enjoyable. Ultimately the scope feels and looks good from the outside, but once in use its a completely different/terrible experience. I would not recommend this scope at all. ... show more

I like this scope very much. It is light weight, aluminum body, and turret covers. The glass is clear and the illuminated crosshairs are easy to adjust from dim to extra bright for daylight use. Mounting was a breeze, but an easy to follow instruction manual is included, with nice graphics. Everything needed for mounting was included, cantilevered scope mount with extra screws, Allen wrenches, and spare batteries, and a lens cleaning cloth. An excellent choice at this price. This scope rocks! I tried this on a 22LR and it worked to perfection. I love the adjustable lever, the illuminated reticle. Nice an compact and just looks good on my rifle. 1 out of 10 in my opinion.
