I wanted an easier solution than the factory manual scissor jack for changing tires in the garage and off-road. I have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It has a curb weight of about 4,200 pounds so this jack should lift a corner with ease. I tried the jack out in my garage and it worked like a charm the first time. I have no complaints about the operation of the jack. It was packaged well and comes with a hard plastic case. The jack appears to be very sturdy and everything fits well into the molded case. A concern for my vehicle is that a convenient jack point on the rear is right next to a tire. A lot of care must be taken when putting the new tire on as it is possible to contact the jack with the tire and knock everything over. This is not a great issue in my garage but might be more of a problem off-road on shifty surfaces. This is not a problem with the jack -- more the design of the vehicle. The jack has a fairly large base and seems stable. The only real complaint is with the manual crank. I tried it out on my workbench and it wouldn't lift the jack at all. It is made of a plastic material with threads that fits into a port on the motor after removing the dust cover. This is not explained in the instructions very well but is pretty intuitive. Trying to raise the jack simply tore up the threads on the plastic lever. Looking through the port hole I could see plastic gears inside. That's not necessarily bad and explains the plastic crank. In re-reading the instructions I encountered this: "If the electric jack can not work after the car be lifted you can insert the hand crank into the cover into the cover [sic] of gear box to lower the electric jack." This is perhaps telling me that the manual crank is just for lowering the jack. Based on my experience with the plastic crank, I am doubtful that it would hold up under load so I would want to use another jack to free up the electric one. I was surprised by how fast the jack operated. I didn't time the operation but it seems like it took much less than a minute to get my 35-inch tire off the floor. This is much better than I anticipated and the total process was incredibly easier than using the OEM jack. I wanted to rate this 4 stars because of the manual crank issue but changed it to 5 when I gave 5 stars to all the subcategories. The manual crank issue should not affect the jack in normal operation and if it fails under load I have the backup OEM jack.

When I got it everything was just as they said it to be. Unpacked it and tried it. Did rise the truck and lowered it. Went to the other side and did the same. No problem until the base started to bend out of shape. We got the truck down before anything happened. Yes it is a 5 ton jack, more than enough to rise the truck.

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 rear wheel drive. I jacked the front end and the back end up each, over a 3 month period it worked find. But on the 4th time while letting the rear end down it started making noise and blow the fuse. Now it blows the fuse before the tires leave the ground.>>> I purchased it Sept. 21, 2023. I started using it in Oct. of 2023. >>>> So I don't recommend buying this product.

A use a hydraulic jack in my home shop for jobs ranging from everything from lifting motorcycles, to positioning some of the heavier projects that I work on; and of course for rotating tires. The issue is I am usually working by myself so pumping the jack handle while performing other tasks can get awkward, so I went looking for a better solution. After some research I decided on this Reliancer Electric Scissor Jack Set as I liked that is battery powered and includes a remote, so no having to manually pumping up a hydraulic jack or turning a crank handle on a scissor jack. The Reliancer Electric Scissor Jack Set arrived in a sturdy blow molded case. Usually cases appear to be an afterthought, but the jack and accessories fit nicely in the case and I like that the lid case has real hinges and that the latches are made from metal. The jack, 2 lift heads, remote, and 12-volt accessory socket adapter also all appear to be of good quality. The emergency crank handle is made of plastic however; I would have preferred metal construction. Using the jack is simple; first install either the shorter rotating lift head or the taller stationary lift head. Then attach the power cable to the remote cable that is permanently attached to the jack. After that, you choose whether you want to power the jack from a 12-volt accessory socket or use the included battery clamps and attach the power leads directly to the battery. Note: Since the power handling capabilities for 12-volt accessory outlets vary on different vehicles, when possible I will always choose to hook the jack straight up to the battery preventing any likelihood of blowing the vehicles 12-volt accessory fuse. I just started testing the electric jack and found the lifting action to be smooth and quiet and I have experienced no issues. I really like this electric scissor jack so far; once I have used this electric jack a little more I will update this review.
