While the bike does come mostly assembled, the bolts aren't tightened as much as they should be and can rattle a fair bit during use. This isn't a dealbreaker, but it's worth knowing. It's also worth knowing that you get what you pay for. This bike isn't going to hit the advertised 20 miles per hour outside of ideal circumstances. Those circumstances being brand new, with tuning from a bike shop, on a full charge on flat pavement or asphalt. It does however work just fine if you lower your expectations to what you might think would be worth $300. I use it to commute to work about a mile and a half each way and it works plenty well enough for that purpose. The battery isn't able to reach the 40+ miles on a charge like it says, not even close. I'd say it reaches about 15 miles on real roads before the battery gives out, and you shouldn't let it drop to under 50% charge unless you have to. The speed of the bike drops a fair bit as charge drops, to the point where you'll think you're set to a lower speed setting than you're really on. The lack of gearing means you probably won't be using this as a proper pedal bike, as it's too hard to get to even a moderate speed with it. Instead it functions more like a moped you don't need a license for. Take all this into account and you'll find this bike serves you well for the price you'll pay. Just remember to take it to a bike shop before your first use, otherwise it might rattle too much for you to be comfortable with. ... show more

Great folding bike, good speed, typically around 15-18mph top speed. It’s very comfortable and relatively easy to fold up. For the cost it’s the best you could hope for. It is a little heavy for smaller people when loading into a car trunk, but not too bad, and at the price point the weight isn’t that big of a deal. Overall very well made, lights are bright, and very convenient in and around college campuses and cities. Gotten at least 16 miles on 3/4 charge so that’s a big plus. DO NOT BUY THIS E-BIKE. HAVE HAD SINCE END OF NOVEMBER AND ONLY RIDDEN ABOUT SIX TIMES. THE IGNITION SWITCH CAME COMPLETELY OUT AND WILL NOT GIVE REFUND OR EXCHANGE. THIS BIKE IS JUNK!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I bought this bike to get to and from work. It has good safety features such as a headlight, taillight, and a horn. I do wish you could activate the taillights to make it visible from behind easily. the only knock back is the positioning of the key slot as my knee will bump up into it. it will get you from point A to point B which is what I care about. I will add that it doesn't last as long as it should. It's about a half hour to a nearby town that's 10-20 minutes away, but this bike almost completely is drained by the end of it. I would expect to get at least an hour or so of the max speed ride. This would be good as a starter bike for someone on the shorter side. All around, it could be better, but for the price it is at it is decent ... show more

I bought this bike for my 9 year old and he really loves it. It is really fun to ride, and looks cool. All of the kids in the neighborhood keep asking him to ride it. The battery life is good. We usually get several rides of 30+ minutes out of it before needing to charge it. The instructions were lacking so I had to go back and forth with the seller to figure out how to remove the battery, and turn on the headlamp. The customer service was on point. My only complaint is that the pull-tab on the battery came detached on one side and has since partially broken off making it difficult to remove the battery. ... show more
