- Update my review, while leaving the old one. I requested a refund expecting the usual Amazon procedure and mail back with a shipping label, the company reached out within an hour and offered to replace it free of charge or ship it back for $100 which means I lose out. Took the offer and surprised at how quickly they responded plus sent a replacement in less than a week. You don't see that often, thank you. Garbage, the front forks are bent and it was built that way as it would of taken a lot of force beyond dropping it during shipment and if it was accidental the forced needed would of mangled it visibly. To get any straight alignment theough the break pad as shown in one image, the second image has the axel aligned half inch forward of mounting slot. The instructions are trash, its a vague order of installation with very little directions and the axel has to be installed first before the dropped into a Y shaped slot that was out of alignment in the one photo and between the wheel and fork is a bearing/washer acting as a spacer yet there are two sizes for what should of been a straight drop in.

A bit frustrating to assemble. The tools provided were weak and easily stripped. The brakes are difficult to adjust as some of the parts that appear adjustable are immovable. The instructions do say something about the brakes rubbing but it’ll get better after 50 hard, top speed, brakes (they need to be worn in.. I guess). The battery pack fit wasn’t perfect either. There’s a simple mechanism to lock it into place which didn’t quite line up correctly. I was able to force the fit, but the battery pack rattles as you ride. The power is good, so much so that I flipped myself off the bike when I accidentally throttled. Make sure to practice in an open, safe area before commuting/traveling. The seat slips as you ride, which is really annoying and was listed in other reviews, but it’s otherwise comfortable. The back tire also got a hole in it on my 3 time riding. And since the bikes nuts and bolts are “locked” I didn’t know how to fix/ replace the tire so I filled it with an internal tire seal. Haven’t ridden it since.. I’d have returned it but the shipping was expensive and costs $80 to ship it back. If you want something reliable, probably don’t go with something this cheap. I was hoping to use it for commuting, but this may be better suited for zipping around a neighborhood for fun.

First of all, don't expect to get a $1200 ebike for $200. With that said, what I did get for $200 (plus $70 shipping & tax) is a really good deal. Add that the ebike's battery and electrical system are safety certified. The certification makes all the difference in the world when you're taking a risk on a "cheap" ebike. My experience: I've owned this ebike for three months and I have not had any of the problems reported in some of the other reviews. My ebike arrived with all the parts and there were no flat tires or damaged parts. I've had no problems with the tools, or the assembly or the pedals breaking. The only problems I've had, and why I don't give this product 5 stars, is because the battery lock has not been installed correctly, so the battery cannot be removed as advertised. The other problem is that the "pedal assist" is basically useless. The only time the pedals will be of any practical use is if the battery is dead. (In order for the pedal assist to be practical there would have to be more gear sprockets on the rear wheel. The single existing ratio is not practical for pedal-assist in my experience.) In practical use this ebike is more of an electric scooter than a pedal-assist ebike. And as it is, it works great and has good power to get you down the road at somewhere between 22 & 25 mph. Again, this is a $200 ebike and not a $1200 ebike. Don't expect things you're not going to get. If you beat on it, it will break. This ebike is great for light-weight commuting on city streets and bike paths (paved). I live on the California Coast where there are lots of hills and stiff winds from the ocean. I commute on this ebike twice a week. And I have found that I need to recharge the battery after 10 miles (each round-trip: 5 miles). But my standard is conservative, I recharge when the battery is at two bars & may actually go another 10 miles on a single charge. How often the battery needs a recharge probably depends on terrain and wind conditions. Finally, the seat issue: Many reviewers have complained about the seat sliding. It's true, the seat will slide IF THE CLAMP IS NOT SUFFICIENTLY TIGHTENED. There is a bolt behind the lever which needs to be adjusted. This will stop the seat from sliding. Further, it is important to check all the clamps on this ebike to make sure they are tight. The clamps will come loose with use and need to be checked & tightened regularly.

Everything came with the box and after 30 mins of assembly by myself, it works great. Just take ur time making sure the bike is screwed in well before taking off on it. Also the installation videos are on the green bike tab on their store that you can click on the top left which is the name of the seller. Just keep sliding the green bike images till you get to the video on the sellers store front page instead of on amazons page front because it won't show up on amazons. The bike is very fast but can rattle a bit on bumpy roads so be careful of potholes or wide cracks in the ground. Great power with a great value. Very mobile and it is easy to use for amateur bicycle riders. Thank u too the seller
