I bought two of these, one for my wife and one for myself. My wife has had problems with one of her knees and finds it difficult to walk around for long distances but with this e-bike we go for long rides and the pedal assist makes it so much easier. When she gets tired of pedaling she can just use the throttle. The battery lasts a super long time and we go for miles and miles. I changed out the seats to one that was a little wider and softer, found a brown one on Amazon that was a very close match to the original color. It has three modes of peddle assist and on the third (PAS 03) this thing really moves out! The control switch, throttle and gear shifter are all positioned on the handle bar by the grips and can be accessed with a touch. The brakes work well and stops smoothly. The display for speed, battery and PAS mode are brightly displayed and easy to see even in bright sunlight. My son went for a ride with me today and liked it so much that I just bought another one for him so we can all go riding when it gets delivered. My brother has a very similar e- bike that he paid twice as much for and as far as quality and value goes this ZDZA Electric Bike beats it hands down. Assembly was fairly simple and easy. It was a bit heavy and I only needed a little help putting on the front wheel, once that was on the rest of the assembly was easy. It’s well balanced so even though it is slightly heavier than some non electric bikes it handles very well. This ebike was exactly as represented. Assembly was straight forward and quick. This was the 2nd ebike I assembled inside of a month, and this one was truly 90 percent assembled in box.

    • First Time E-Bike Buyer Issues (solved)
I'm writing this to hopefully save anyone else who is new to E-bikes in general some frustration. When this bike was delivered I spent a few hours taking my time and following the assembly instructions as I understood them. When I finished putting the bike together, I then charged it to full the following morning, and when I went to ride it that evening I misunderstood the instructions, thinking the power button that is located on the battery was the button the manual was indicating for me to hold down to power the bike up. Needless to say, this did not work, and I spent the next couple of days trying to identify if there was some faulty part on my off time without any success, so this weekend I began looking online for solutions and soon discovered the bikes primary control panel up near the left brake, twisted so that the face was obscured by the brake and easy to miss. This panel also had a power button, and this one did indeed power up the bike, which worked great on my first run to and the store and back. It maintained a speed of 22-23mph on its own power, with myself being able to push it slightly faster to 24-25 before the pedal RPM was too fast to maintain. The lights are bright and very functional, as is the display. The bike feels sturdy and has plenty of power to reach and maintain its top speed and is enjoyable to ride. I have to take away 1 star because the bike feels like it is being artificially held back from a higher top speed, and because the manual could be a lot more clearly written. ... show more
