I purchased this ebike because it was advertised with an impressive range, which was a key factor in my decision. However, after using it, I was disappointed to find that the actual range is much less than claimed 13 miles. Yes, you heard right, the battery died after 13 miles. I tried to resolve this issue with the seller, but was met with inadequate support—they refused to send a pre-paid return shipping label and instead offered me only $40 to keep the bike and try to resell it myself. That had to be a joke!!! This solution is not acceptable, especially since the bike does not perform as promised and returning it would be costly and is not an expense that I should have to cover. I feel let down by both the product and the seller’s lack of responsibility. I believe customers deserve honest advertising and support if things go wrong. Pros: • Bike arrived as described Cons: • Actual range much less than advertised • Seller unwilling to provide proper return support • Offered only a small compensation to keep and resell the bike Overall, I would not recommend this product. If you’re considering this ebike, be aware of the questionable product claims and unsatisfactory customer service. Buyer beware. Below is all the communication I had with the Seller. Regarding riding range, with a fully charged new battery, at a wind speed of no more than 3m/s, and riding on a flat secondary road, many factors affect the riding range: this is mainly due to the battery capacity decreasing over time. In addition, the actual load weight, whether the road surface is flat, the presence of uphill and downhill slopes, wind speed, wind direction, the number of times braking and starting during riding, whether the tires are properly inflated, and the correct charging method, as well as the ambient temperature, are all factors that affect the actual riding range (at a standard temperature of 25℃, for every 1℃ decrease, the riding range will be shortened by approximately 0.5km). Furthermore, new batteries need to be activated to achieve optimal performance. Initial use may show a "false charge" phenomenon (showing full charge but the actual power is consumed quickly). Activation method: After each ride, regardless of the remaining power, please charge for more than 10 hours, and repeat this 3-5 times to improve performance. Great value. Great electric bike for a reasonable price. I added a bike stem extender, a mirror, an iPhone holder, and larger bike lock. The bike is a little heavier than I’d like but not overly so. *Assembly required. If you are used to working on bikes you won’t have difficulty. If your only experience with bikes is riding them, you may need help. The instructions are not always clear and detailed. *You may need to adjust the brake tension *The front light screw does not come with a locking nut. Without one, the light tends to slip around.
