My 15 year old son has been wants for an electric bike for summer, fun we found this one from Cycrown and since it already had great reviews and reasonable price, we decided to take a chance. He put it together himself with the provided tools. Assembly was really easy, He's been riding with his neighbor friend. The bike has great range and the removable battery makes it so easy to charge. I was a little skeptical about the seat shape, but my son says it is really comfortable. He's been going over some really rough trails and the bike handles it all with no problems. The bike was shipped with no issues. The package was quite large, but to be expected. The bike was easy to assemble and all of the tools were provided. Some of the assembly steps were already complete from the manufacturer which was nice. I bought this for my 11 year old son, the bike is a bit taller than I expected and he may not be able to reach the ground with his feet, but I'm sure he will ride it ok and he will grow :). I test rode the bike, I am 6' 1 200 lbs. It is comfortable to ride but it probably a bit underpowered for someone my size. I'm sure it will work great for my son. The tires seemed a little cheap and thin, so I'm expecting I'll have to upgrade those soon. My son is rough on tires. ... show more

I’ll get the downside out of the way first. I use this bike to get to and from work which is a 2.5 miles round trip but with a fully charged battery at full throttle I lose over half my battery. The bike itself has a great frame that looks really cool. The lights have a nice design and are bright which helps a lot at night. The tires are very sturdy, I’ve put them on a lot of different terrain and they have not disappointed. The seat is very comfortable and with the suspension of this bike it gives such a smooth ride on any surface I have rode on. I am 5’8 160 lbs, the bike can carry me up hills no problem, and when I come to a full stop I can put my foot down easily so I’m sure if you’re taller or shorter you can still ride with bike comfortably. The carry weight is exactly as it says I’ve rode the bike with my gf on it at the same time and it was still able to make it up a hill which is insane for an ebike at this price. The company is also very friendly, I ordered a chain along with my bike but it didn’t come after a week of having the bike, when I contacted Cycrown they responded fast and got the chain to me within three days of my contacting them so A+ for customer service. Altogether I’ve enjoyed this e-bike a lot and I think it’s amazing value for the price that you pay. ... show more

I had an issue with the front fork and also the pedal having come off and they would warranty the item. They basically said it was over the mileage and I didn’t have long to be honest. For what I paid and what I also spent on shipping, I would not recommend to buy based on after sales support

Receiving: The bike came ~70% assembled and all the needed tools came with it. I did order the chain lock and helmet and it did not come with the bike, but after I contacted them, they sent it immediately. Took me about an hour to assemble it completely. The battery came fully charged. For most of the assembly I didn't even have to read the instructions, it was simple and obvious where to put the parts that they don’t even fit if you put them wrong on purpose. Riding: It feels nice and safe riding this bike at 20 mph, once you ride it a couple of times it feels slow and you want to go faster than that, but unfortunately, there is no way to increase the limit speed. It brakes smoothly but quickly if needed. I'm 5'6", and it is just perfect for me. It is fine on the street as well as on the grass. The seat is very comfortable, a bit long if I can tune it just for me, I would reduce it around 3" or so, it is just my preference nothing wrong as is. Battery: It works fine for my daily trips to work (~9 miles round trip mostly flat not up and down hills), but after the daily ride I need to recharge the battery since it shows 1 line of battery life. I think it won’t last more than 13 miles at 20 mph, which I think is the only thing I would like to improve for this bike, I am considering installing a second battery for longer trips. Conclusion: I recommend it 100%, just be aware of the max speed is set to 20 mph, I couldn’t find a way to increase it without replacing any parts. I have read a lot of comments about the battery life not being good, I think it is ok for the price we pay, if a longer lasting battery is needed the best choice is to replace it with a better one. Pros: saves a lot on gas and miles on vehicle. I take this to the grocery store, fishing, ice cream, adventures. I have almost 300 miles on this and have had no issues Cons: I do recommend after assembly, after about 100 miles of riding to tighten the bolts again because mine came loose from the vibration and bumps, normal stuff to happen. SUPER happy I bought this one of my best investments living in Miami and being 1.4 miles from my work. I zip all over the place with this thing and spare my vehicle the hassle.
