ok it great a ice maker that make lots of ice and a large storage bin. only problem i see is that you have to open the ice bin to put water in lol and it a little hard to use the scoop to remove the ice. but these are little things that you have to do.

Feature-Packed Ice Maker with a Fantastic Self-Cleaning Function
I've owned a few countertop ice makers over the years, and this one has quickly become my favorite. It checks just about every box I was looking for—it's compact enough to fit on the counter, produces ice quickly, offers adjustable ice thickness, and, best of all, includes a self-cleaning feature that makes maintenance incredibly easy. The self-cleaning cycle is honestly what sold me on this machine. If you've ever owned an ice maker, you know how important regular cleaning is, but it's also one of the biggest hassles. With this unit, I simply start the cleaning cycle and let it do the work. It gives me much more confidence that the ice stays fresh and the machine remains sanitary without having to completely disassemble everything. It's one of those features you don't realize you need until you have it. Performance has also been impressive. It starts producing crescent-shaped ice surprisingly fast, with the first batch ready in about 15 minutes. Once it gets going, it keeps up well whether we're filling water bottles, making cocktails, entertaining guests, or simply keeping a cooler stocked during the day. The adjustable ice thickness is another feature I didn't expect to use as much as I do, but it's nice being able to customize the ice depending on what we're using it for. The LED display is simple and intuitive, making it easy to set the timer, monitor the machine, and switch between settings without constantly referring to the instruction manual. I also appreciate that it's portable enough to move between the kitchen, patio, RV, or even take along for parties. The overall design is modern and attractive, and it doesn't look out of place sitting on the countertop. Despite producing a good amount of ice, it has a relatively small footprint, making it a great option for kitchens where counter space is limited. One thing I especially like is how quietly it operates compared to some other countertop ice makers I've owned. You can hear it cycling, of course, but it's not overly loud or disruptive during everyday use. My only hesitation—and the only thing I can't fully speak to yet—is long-term durability. I've owned other appliances from this brand in the past, and unfortunately, they didn't last much longer than about three months. I'm really hoping this model is an improvement because so far, it has exceeded my expectations in every other way. The features, performance, and convenience are outstanding, and I'd love to see it continue performing this well for years to come. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this ice maker. It produces ice quickly, offers useful customization options, has an incredibly convenient self-cleaning function, and looks great on the counter. If it proves to have better longevity than some of my previous experiences with the brand, I honestly think it would be very difficult to beat at this price point. Great Little Ice Maker!
I’ve been using this ice maker for a while now, and I’m honestly really happy with it. I got tired of constantly buying bags of ice, especially when we have family over or when we’re making a lot of cold drinks, so having a machine right on the countertop has been a big convenience. The crescent-shaped ice is one of my favorite things about it. The cubes look clear and clean compared with the cloudy ice you usually get from a freezer, and I like that they don’t seem to melt as quickly. They work really well in everything from iced coffee and soda to cocktails and whiskey. The shape also makes the ice feel a little more special when serving drinks to guests. It also makes ice surprisingly fast. Each cycle produces a good amount, and with the large daily capacity, I haven’t had to worry about running out during normal use. The water tank holds a decent amount, so I’m not constantly refilling it either. When we have people over, it’s especially nice to have fresh ice available without having to make a trip to the store. I really like the adjustable ice thickness as well. It’s nice being able to choose thinner ice for certain drinks and thicker pieces when I want something that lasts longer. The controls are straightforward, and the LED display makes it easy to see what the machine is doing. The 24-hour timer is another useful feature because I can set it up ahead of time and have ice ready when I need it. The self-cleaning function is definitely a big plus for me. I don’t enjoy taking appliances apart just to clean them, so being able to start the cleaning cycle with one button makes regular maintenance much easier. The alerts for low water and a full ice basket are also helpful because I don’t have to keep checking on the machine. Despite everything it can do, the machine is still fairly compact. It fits nicely on my countertop and would also be convenient for an office, RV, boat, or home bar. The included ice basket and scoop are a nice touch and make it ready to use right out of the box. Overall, I’m very pleased with this ice maker. It’s easy to use, produces ice quickly, has plenty of useful features, and the crescent ice looks great in a glass. Unique Crescent-Shaped Ice and an Incredible Self-Cleaning Feature
This countertop ice maker makes some of the most unique ice I've personally ever seen. Instead of the typical bullet or nugget-style ice, this one makes crescent-shaped cubes, and I really like the way they turn out. It produces about 16 cubes every 15 minutes and is capable of making up to 27 pounds of ice in a day. Another thing I really like is how small and portable this unit is. We actually take ours up to our cabin because we don't have a refrigerator there that makes ice continuously, and we're not up there as often as we'd like to be. Being able to just take this along with us makes having a steady supply of ice incredibly convenient. As with most countertop ice makers, keep in mind that if you want it to keep producing ice for hours, you will need to periodically check the water level and empty the ice bin. If you're around the house for a few hours doing chores and don't mind checking on it every so often, this really isn't a big deal. But the feature that really separates this one from many of the others I've used is the self-cleaning function. A lot of countertop ice makers don't have this, and I think it makes a huge difference. Being able to have the machine essentially take care of its own cleaning is a major convenience and, honestly, makes this one worth buying for me. The price is also excellent, especially while it's currently on sale. Once you learn the few basic features, there's really not much to it. Fill it with water, let it do its thing, and you have fresh ice whenever you need it. Overall, this is a true five-star ice maker for me. finally solid ice
I really like this crescent ice maker. It is very easy to setup. You just run the cleaning cycle for 20 minutes fill and go. It has a good capacity and puts out true solid ice. It is somewhat easy to use and works well. The touch panel is easy to read, with decipherable icons. You can set thickness levels, the thickest taking a little while, but the cubes last a while. The basket is not cooled, but because this is solid ice, the crescents can last a while versus say an ice bullet. It has a timer which may come in handy for those who want ice ready at a certain time, say after the gym or work. It has alerts for water and the bin being full. At $200 (day of review), it is a bit more than some ice makers, but is a decent product, with good capacity, good features, that puts out solid ice. ... show more

Great Ice Maker
This is a portable, fast ice maker for just about anywhere. This has a 1.7 liter tank that make a ton of ice, and it makes it quickly. This CANNOT connect directly to a supply line. This must be filled as needed. That is great for occasional parties, etc where there are a lot more people using ice. When you don't need it, store it. That makes this also good for camping, rvs, etc as long as their is power available. This has a self cleaning mode, and the ice thickness can be selected from thick to medium to full thickness. This is very easy to use and setup. Overall I think this is a good value. It is nice to be able to make large volumes of ice when needed versus running out to get a bag. ... show more

Perfect for My Dorm Iced Coffee Routine!

I am going with a four star review tentatively, as I have not actually made ice with this maker yet. I have inspected it and feel like it's very well made - heavier than expected which usually means more metal than plastic - and it looks very sleek. I think it would look nice on a counter or in an office setting. I also have a good bit of experience with the Electactic brand and have found almost without exception their appliances to be well designed, well priced, and very functional. So I have reason to believe this ice maker will also be awesome! I plan to debut it at a party in a few weeks and will add to the review if I have anything new to say. :) I do like that it has a built in tank so I don't have to keep refilling it throughout the night, and I specifically chose it for the fact that it makes crescent shaped ice vs the "bullet" shape. ... show more
