This is an excellent lock! Very easy to install and set up. Love the finger print feature! Very quick to unlock and enter the door and no fumbling with keys. Also can use keypad but finger print is way easier and faster. Auto locks behind you so no worries there. Highly recommend.

Decent Quality - Nice sturdy build - the latch plate is small, and I had to use the original from pre-installed deadbolt lock. See picture. I think they should have included the small and a larger version, but I made the old one work. Works fine so far. Follow the directions and only use hand tools when securing this to your door, and do not over tighten anything. I found that even using hand screwdriver I had tightened the screws a bit tight, and the bolt would jam and not work via the keypad. I was able to work the bolt from the inside with the manual lock knob but each time the battery-operated mechanism was not strong enough. I ended up backing off all the screws to a point that the battery-operated mechanism worked, then tightened the screws a half turn or so at a time. One annoying feature is that from the factory it is set to automatically lock at 10 seconds, so while I was working on getting the bolt to work it was continually locking. (You are able to override this feature and I suggest it is one of the first things you do.) For some reason that directions appeared to indicate that there was an option to program a simple two-digit code, but I found that not to be the case. Read and re-read the directions, the indicator lights that they point out in the directions are not the exact same, but you catch on to the programing quickly. The directions for programing are well written and after working through a few settings you get a good idea how it works. When setting up the fingerprint option, you cannot use a thumbprint. I set my index fingerprint and then my wife attempted to set a thumbprint and it will not take it. I also then attempted my thumbprint and again no luck. The directions do not specify that you cannot use a thumbprint, but now you know. Use good quality fresh double AA alkaline or lithium batteries (a rabbit pounding a drum comes to mind) in any regard I kept an extra set of four ready and near the lock as I am not sure how much juice I used going through all the settings and tweaking to get it to work properly, I found quickly that using the knob on the inside to reset to unlock saves battery power. All and all a nice quality item, I mounted on the rear garage door to allow us time to see how well it works out, if all is good after a month or so it will find a home on our main door out front. *It does come with a set of two keys, so it the batteries fail or get weak you are able to still unlock via traditional key. ... show more

This is a nice durable door lock. Clear instructions and well-designed components made installation of the door lock easy. The electronic keypad and deadbolt combination provide a nice and versatile entry system. The door can be unlocked in three ways—the electronic keypad, the fingerprint scan, or keys. It also has a nice auto-lock feature that can be turned on or off. It has a simple one-button push to lock the door from the outside. While programming took a bit of time, the manufacturer's website had an instructional video that demonstrated the process of setting up our unique key codes and fingerprints, making the initial setup easier. Basically, you need to move quickly through the setup steps without long pauses. Initially, we encountered a minor delay with my fingerprint recognition. Despite multiple attempts, I struggled to get my fingerprint to unlock the door consistently. However, after trying a different finger on my other hand the issue was resolved. This is a very nice door lock. The installation is easy; especially if just swapping out an existing door lock. I had a problem with my front door that wasn't aligned so the dead bolt wouldn't auto lock properly unless pushing the door in... I had to take out the latch cover on the door jam and move it so they were aligned. The beep is very loud, but it has an option to disable sound. The finger reader works well for most people and the auto lock is nice too, but I wish there was an optical sensor or ultrasonic sensor to detect when the door is closed to start the auto lock timer. It's just a dumb timer that counts when there's a door lock event and then engages the lock when the timer is done, even if the door is open. It makes the auto lock annoying if you need to leave your door open for few seconds or beyond the timer count down. I hate that I need another key for emergencies... I don't have the time to take it apart to rekey it to the door lock key below. The configuration guide is extremely helpful to set the various desired options. Updated: Changed this to 4 stars. The auto lock is annoying because it doesn't know when the door is open. It needs an optical or magnetic sensor to know when the door is open and not try to lock. This could cause you to close the door while doing that...the lock sticks out and now the door jam is damaged. I had to disable this feature. The other issue is that it had trouble reading the finger print of an elderly family member. I tried over a dozen times and could not get it to record the finger print. For seniors and others with challenges, this product becomes a 2 or 3 stars... They'll have issues with memory to remember and if the fingerprint reader doesn't work... they are stuck with having one to two keys to carry which defeats the purpose of this device. ... show more

The Elamor Intelligent Door Lock Model M19F is a robust electronic door lock for entry doors. The lock was easy to install as a direct replacement to a standard deadbolt lock. Elamor includes a nice plastic liner to put behind the decorative striker plate to hide the chiseled-out hole in the door frame. The mounted lock was fairly easy to program: the only confusion being that the "SET" button required to unlock the programming steps is on the interior side of the lock, below the battery compartment. Locating "SET" took a call to customer service, but was quickly resolved by a very helpful staff member. The fingerprint option is super convenient when coming in with arms full of packages. The M19F model comes with two back-up keys, so you'll never find yourself locked completely out. Recommended. ... show more
