If you’ve been debating which of the many desk chairs on Amazon to choose, debate no more—this one is truly the ELA-BEST! I received this chair for Christmas last year and wanted to use it for a while before writing a review. First, the packaging was phenomenal. Everything was packed securely, and there was no shipping damage at all. All parts were clearly labeled, making the setup process straightforward. Speaking of setup, the instructions were impressive. Instead of a few black-and-white sheets, the chair came with a detailed 32-page manual featuring close-up photos that clearly demonstrated each step of the assembly process. Once assembled, the functionality exceeded my expectations. From the lift-up armrests, to the three-position reclining backrest, to the pull-out footrest, every feature feels thoughtfully designed and well-executed. I love this chair. It is a replacement for one I bought years ago and has lived a good life but now needs to "go upstate". The quality is obvious from when you start unpacking - well thought out and very protective of the contents, The instructions are clear and concise. I've put these together before, but this one was a breeze. It took me about an hour and I was not rushing. The chair is very comfortable and has many adjustments. I especially love the lumbar adjustment which adjusts in multiple axis (up/down/in/out). As a congratulation for completing assembly, you are offered a choice of free seat cover or roller blade wheels. I opted for the wheels, which were shipped two days later, arrived in a week and are glorious. The chair glides across the floor now and I love it. The one issue I had was the height is about an inch higher than my previous chair, which caused the armrests to be slightly higher than the keyboard tray at my desk and this caused me some discomfort when I spent a long time at the computer. This is the part where Ada from Elabest support came to the rescue (she is also the one who so quickly sent the wheels). She had sent me a message asking how I liked the chair with the roller wheels (who follows up on those things?). I told her how much I liked them and then mentioned the height issue. She offered to send me a shorter gas piston to lower the height and solve my problem and the piston is already on the way. I cannot express how impressed I am with Ada and Elabest customer support. In summary, this is a great chair and I think also a great value and if you have any issues, you will be very pleased with the support you get.

At the time of posting this review, this chair only had around 957 reviews compared to several other chairs I looked at that had thousands more. I decided to take a chance on it because of the 30-day return window. First off — wow. The positive reviews are absolutely accurate. We previously bought office chairs from Costco, and this chair is a major step up in comfort and quality. I bought it for my wife, who works long hours sitting at a desk. Today was her first full day using it, and she said it was amazing. Normally after several hours she has lower back discomfort, constantly needs to get up and stretch, and often moves to the bed to continue working from her laptop because her chair becomes uncomfortable. Today was the first day in years I didn’t see her do that. She loves it. My 20-year-old son assembled it in about 45 minutes. His first comment was how well everything was packaged and labeled. He also specifically mentioned how impressive the instruction manual was — full color, booklet style, and very easy to follow. As others have mentioned, the company includes a free gift offer in the booklet. You can choose between upgraded wheels or a cushion/cover. We chose the cover. Customer service responded to my email immediately, and the next day they let me know it would take about three weeks to restock and apologized for the delay. The chair feels solid, very comfortable, and has tons of adjustment points for the back, armrests, and headrest. The only minor weak point is the footrest. It’s not bad, but it’s not quite as sturdy as the rest of the chair. If you made it this far, this is a real review from a real buyer in Texas. I highly recommend this chair. You’ll be happy with it.

I'm a developer and I wanted a chair that was suitable for all day use, both work and play. I landed on the Elabest X100 because of a few key features; headrest, footrest, back support, and overall sturdiness. I have been using it now for a week or two and it has been amazing, especially compared to my previous office chair. First it's hefty and sturdy and feels like it will stand the test of time. It was pretty easy to assemble, took about 15 minutes or so. The hydraulic lift on this chair reaches a good inch or two higher than my last which is awesome. I feel like this chair would be good for anyone of any size, but that it would support larger frames well. The headrest, adjustable lumbar support, and tuck-away foot rest are all great features. My house gets busy sometimes and finding a good place to take a nap is hard. This chair is like a hideaway hammock; kick up the foot rest, recline is generously and sleep comfortably. The cost is relative. If you use your office chair often then unquestionably this is a great value. Cost-wise it actually sits on the lower end of high end chairs, but worth every penny and more. On top of it support has been super responsive and amazing in getting me up and going for warranty support and other great customer benefits that come with the chair. Don't know what else to say other than this has been a great buy. I would no doubt buy it again.

This chair gets 6 stars. I’m an executive who works seated most of the time, so I could define myself as a professional office chair connoisseur. This chair was bought for the home office, but this one is was ergonomic, esthetic and comfortable as any other chair in our offices. I was impressed with the impeccable packaging. These folks took their time to put signs and names to each part. Putting the chair together was very easy thanks to the fantastic instructions provided. Took me 1/5 hour to assemble. On the materials, the chair provides several options, including tones. We chose walnut and it looks similar to the pictures. This is a strong chair; well sized for larger people, including the option to adjust depending on height of the user. The main event is the foot rester which folds under the seat. Only thing I would change is the wheels, but I can leave with them. Also, for guitar players, the armrests can be rolled back and play without bumping the instrument. I recommend these chairs either for office or home, low price, high quality

Nice chair overall and excellent customer support. Easy to build and feels like good quality. The manufacturer offered me rollerblade style wheels for free that arrived quickly, and I like the 5 year warranty. Chair adjustments are easy to use and the lumbar and arm adjustments help maximize comfort. So far spending many long hours per day in the chair and it has been comfortable.

I’m not usually one to write a review but when I have a product that I’m very satisfied with and customer service that’s responsive and kind, it’s hard not to. This is my first dip into slightly more premium ergonomic office chairs. I was looking at the $1000-2000 options but I could not justify that spend. I’m happy I decided to go with this chair after a lot of “research” (reading and an insane amount of Amazon reviews lol). The set up was very easy. It’s a rock solid chair and feels premium. I primarily got this chair for the lumbar support that it offers and the customizable settings. It definitely delivers on the support side in basically every regard. Sitting at my desk for hours doesn’t cause me pain anymore like it used to. My favorite feature is the ability to lock the chair in the semi reclined and fully reclined positions. It’s nice when you’re just lounging and watching a video and don’t want to make the effort to hold yourself back. The foot rest is a nice feature to have although I don’t use it that much. The flip up arms are also extremely useful when wanting to get close to the table. I only have one gripe which is very minor and fixable - the folding arms are very difficult to push back with the tightness of the bolts that it initially is set to, although this can be adjusted and loosened. Overall, I highly recommend this chair to anyone looking to enter the premium desk chair market!

if you need a new chair at this point stop looking cause this chair is IT. I got this chair as a birthday gift because i was desperate for a new chair specifically an office chair gamers know office chairs are amazing but this one takes the cake for me for affordability as well as comfortability. I put the chair together and was extremely excited. The chair is made of great quality and i use it everyday not only for gaming but just lounging as well. My favorite feature is the arm rests because its actually able to move not only up and down but the actual arm section can move so u can turn it so its better for phone use or controller holding. Lastly i want to talk about the customer service. Ever since i got this chair customer support has been there for me ensuring i get the free seat cover as well as answering questions i might have and ensuring quality is being up-kept the whole time I’ve had it. I also waited to do this because i wanted to keep the chair for a while. Ive had the char about 3 months now and love it just as much as the first day. The chair isn’t insanely big but its a great size and super sturdy. 10/10 would recommend and definitely will buy another one of their chairs whenever i need a new one
