I’ve had my T11 from Elabest for about a week. Package arrived intact, opened easily, had a mix of cardboard and foam wrapping which seemed to have held everything securely. All parts were included, plus the tag offering a set of skate-wheel casters. Assembly was simple, instructions clear (with pictures), all parts aligned, and the included screws had a thread lock substance already in place. All screws tighten into metal threads. Took me maybe 20 minutes. I’m 6’1”, 200# for reference. Legs/base are metal pieces screwed together with two screws per leg. Chair frame is solid nylon, little to no flex. The mesh is elastic with great support, and I don’t detect any odor or chemical smells. The surface is grippy without being rough. Took me only a couple minutes to adjust height, arms, and headrest. I don’t share the chair so I don’t know if I’ll move things much. No squeaks at all. It’s very comfortable to sit in. The lumbar pad is like a firm pillow behind your lower back which gives a bit and feels great to me. The lowest part of the backrest (not the lumbar pad) is at the bottom of my thoracic spine and there’s at least an inch of space between the plastic frame and my back. The headrest is the same mesh and I can adjust it to sit perfectly at the base of my skull. Downsides: There is no adjustment for the recline tension, and just 2 ‘stops’ you can slide the locking pin into for fully up or reclined. The seat base does not tilt with the backrest. The design uses a foam cushion under the nose of the chair behind the mesh. The armrests are very thinly padded, but the detents in adjustment are fairly firm and there are a LOT of ways to position them. I wish the chair went just a couple degrees more upright, but I’m used to a very vertical position. I’d say this is a decent budget office chair if you don’t need a custom reclined position. No idea how it will hold up, but I’ll update if I find any wear or other pain points. For the $200 you’ll likely spend I think it’s a good buy. If you have the budget or need for more features, this one may not be for you. ... show more

    • Not Quite What I Was Hoping For But ELABEST RESOLVED MY CONCERNS

This chair is easy to put together and is pretty comfortable but the lumbar presses a bit too much into my back than I would like and it not adjustable that I can see. Also, the chair reclines to a comfortable resting position but I wish I could lock it in place about halfway back. It only locks fully upright or fully back, nothin in between. Overall, it is a decent chair and if you don't mind the feeling of something pressing you forward (lumbar support) then it is a good chair for the price. I think I will shop for one a little more for my needs. UPDATE: Elabest went above and beyond to make me happy. They sent me a new chair to replace this one and I love it.     • Great chair for anyone with neck or back problems

I have serious neck pain due to an old injury. I shopped around for several weeks trying to find the right desk chair, as I sit at a desk all day for my job. I finally settled on this chair and I have not been disappointed. The head support adjusts up and down, and it actually protrudes forward beyond the back of the chair, exactly the way orthopedic doctors tell us a good head/neck support should. Very few chairs do this. That being said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved: 1. The arms adjust up and down, which is great. There is a small tab underneath each armrest. Just pull that up and the arm raises up and down. What I don't like is that the armrests also swing around, and they don't lock in place very well. Often, when I push on the armrest to get out of the chair, the armrest rotates, which is annoying. It would be nice if they locked in place with the same sort of tab that locks them in place up and down. 2. The headrest adjusts up and down and stays in place only by friction. It would be nice if it used some sort of tab to lock in place more firmly also. ... show more

    • Not buying office chairs online again
This chair didn’t work for my back because there’s a huge bump on the chair lower back area, which is NOT ADJUSTABLE. I returned it which was a hassle to disassemble it and repack it in the original boxes!

This chair is not comfortable. The lumbar is not adjustable. The seat mechanism only locks in straight up or laying down and also controls the height of the chair and you have to stand up( just plain get off the chair) in order to get the chair to raise up, and I only weigh 145 lbs. The head rest has cheap plastic notches to move it up and down. Maybe I expected too much but for $200 I wouldn't buy another. By far the worst office chair I have ever had. I would have returned it but it was already assembled and box thrown out. However it was easy to assemble!! ... show more
