I followed directions and made sure each bulb was turned until locked in place and they all came on when I plugged them in. They have such a nice warm glow. 4 Stars because it came missing an LED bulb and the socket electrical contact not aligned properly. I like that the light string had suspending bulb sockets. I also like that the sockets have a soft rubber lip that appear to seal tightly around the bulb. This should help in keeping water and moisture from corroding out the socket. When plugged-in to AC power, all the 23 pre-installed bulbs were working properly. Now for what I didn't like. As mentioned all the 23 installed bulbs were working properly except for number 24- it was missing. I took one of the two spare bulbs and screwed it into the empty socket however it did not work so I tried the 2nd spare bulb and it too was not working. Upon inspection I noticed that the center electrical contact inside the socket was standing vertically upward and was preventing me to screw the bulb completely into the socket. I was able to lay the connector down to a horizontal position and then both spare bulbs were working properly. It was evident to me that the last socket never initially had a bulb installed and therefore never was tested. Conclusion: 1). This LED light string was exactly what I was looking to purchase and appears to be of good quality manufactured. 2). Missing 1 LED bulb and had to use one of the spare bulbs to complete the string to 24 LED lights. 3). Got missed on quality control prior to packaging final product. ... show more

These lights are nice on our outside patio, nice warm light, enough to see what you are doing without being obnoxiously bright. We added a remote-control plug with clicker so they can be turned on and off easily.
