I have used my pole trimmer to maintain palm trees and cedar trees. It works well, and I found the addition of an extension shaft adds to usefulness of the saw. The auto.atic oiler works well, and the cut is smooth and even. The power is acceptable and blade resharpening is very easy.

    • Chainsaw design flawed.
Saw works fairly well but downtime reassembling bar & chain with the cheap plastic sprocket cover is not a plus. There is 1 screw and 2 plastic tabs holding all together. Sorry my tabs broke, cover spins and chain flies off. Not happy. Warranty customer service sending me replacement cover. I wonder how many covers I will need? There nust be a design modification for this! I have the multiple tool power head and other attachments like trimmer, etc. No problems at all. Fix the damn chainsaw! ... show more

I have about seven ego attachments all of them are flawless. This one is nothing different. I trust ego with my life and all my lawn maintenance needs. It cuts down tree limbs about 4 inches thick and just a matter of seconds.
