Works great. Have used it on snow up to about 10 inches, sometimes more near the street. Even the hard stuff near the street is handled well. Relatively quiet and I don't need to keep a can of gas in the garage. I now also own EGO leaf blower (fantastic) and chain saw (Didn't try yet) and grass edge trimmer (works fine but is heavy; could use a carrying strap for over the shoulders like the leaf blower. ... show more

    • Use it when snowing outside
It work’s wonderfully. Registration for warranty purposes is ridiculously redundant and complex. I’ll never attempt that again. But it works wonderfully. Lather it up with silicone spray. Keep the batteries indoors. They work better when warmer than freezing.

    • Not good with wet snow
This is a better snow pusher than snow blower, at least with semi-wet snow. Using 10 Ah batteries (fully charged), 4 inches of snow (lightly wet on bottom of snow layer) in Colorado at 7500 ft+ elevation, this unit seems much weaker for throwing snow, than my previous Ego SNT2112 snow blower. Second stage impeller output orifice seems too small and clogs easily. Auger to impeller channel also likes to clog up. I see why the designers included a snow clearing tool on the front top of the machine. I should have kept my old Ego SNT2112, even if it is hard to push in deeper snow. Update Dec 2023: This machine works well for snow depths of 3" or less. After that, I need to use my John Deere compact tractor with front snow blower. What a great blower! works well with the 10 AH Battery for longer run time. Light weight and very maneuverable I Love mine for sure.

    • Not as advertised
I watched a ton of videos, was very excited for this purchase, because I've been waiting for a battery operated unit that I could use. Previously. I've just used snow shovels, and I also had a lower end battery operated unit that did not work very well... or at least I thought it didn't work very well. While the other unit was only $200, this unit was dramatically more money, but I got lower battery time and it worked half as good as my cheaper unit. I regret getting rid of my other unit. The Batteries died within 10 minutes, far lower than their expectancy. When I purchased this the batteries were just strapped to it, it looks like it had been used or returned, I was assured it was not, but I don't believe that to be the case. I tried to get ahead of the snow and get this, but I completely regret this purchase, will definitely be looking elsewhere, and would not recommend an ego for anything. In fact, I would not recommend any of the products, another product, a brush roll that I purchased, pushes backwards and shoots everything onto you rather than the direction it's supposed to, I verified the directions, I did everything correctly, they just don't seem to make good products. I was happy with the leaf blower, but at this point I only purchased these items as a set, and if two out of three are bad I'm going to return everything. ... show more

    • FIX the CHUTE...after 10 minutes use, it FREEZES IN PLACE
I own this Ego two stage snoblower. The blower is 9 months in use, the directional handle on the chute cannot be moved after 10 minutes of use. It freezes in place. If you've ever tried to blow snow in one direction only, you know that the equipment is pretty worthless at this point. Ego should stop selling this unit until they have a fix. NO, this isn't the problem whereby the chute bounces around in all directions, this is a purposely attempted directional change on the chute and it's frozen in place. They are aware of the issue and offer no fix except let it thaw in the garage. DON'T buy until they've addressed the issue. ... show more

    • Bad Warranty week drive unit
Throws snow really good but the motor and drive unit broke when I hit a pinecone I found out this happens to a lot of this 24 inch two-stage blower. They had my blower for two months ended up sending me a brand new one. It was well over two months. In the meantime I had to buy another blower. Wanted to sell this piece of junk and the warranty is not transferable. This electric snowblower has not involved it’s made in China and it’s a piece of crap. ... show more
