Ordered this for Father’s Day and was amazed at the quality. It’s pricey, but you get what you pay for usually. Battery is interchangeable with the EGO Leaf Blower (which is also a quality tool). Dad loved it. He’s been out in the yard every day since he received it! LOL

Great combo deal! The brush cutter saved us so much extra work on some overgrown foliage on our property. Assembly is a bit tricky on the brush cutter, YouTube has some good videos out there. Make sure you secure the blade so it don’t wobble!

Ok first off this weed wacker is built very well the quality is apparent. I used it for a solid hour battery had 25% left. The auto string advancement seems to work. Bottom line it performed very good and the battery life is excellent. Now for the down side this thing is heavy built right but with the battery it’s heavy. I would rate my strength and fitness as very good but after using it for an hour I was getting fatigued. It’s that you are forced into the same position the entire time so the weight adds up. My current solution is that I ordered the EGO strap to help take some of the weight and balance the thing. If you are not relatively fit I would avoid this one but perhaps the strap will make it easier? ... show more

Carpal wrist torture! Too bad. Quality and function were well up to expectations. Adjustable handle so you can adjust to stand up straight and relieve pressure on your lower back. Trigger is a very poor design. Step one, a safety lock out button so you can't accidentally start. Great idea. Step two, a variable speed trigger. It takes a strong grip to engage fully and no way to keep it engaged unless you improvise a bypass which would be very unsafe so you are manipulating the brush cutter head, vibrating, torquing tool while squeezing and my wrists got tore up after one battery cycle. Working with power tools all my career I found this to be a painful design flaw. A trigger that can be locked in full with a separate button, similar to the starting lock out, having the ability to disingage the trigger fully when re-squeezed would be a great improvement. Now I found the least painful method is to use the weight of the tool on the two least tired fingers to fully engage the trigger. The fully engaged lock in - immediate release function is very common and insisted on by workers in the trades. Battery life is fine but my wrist needs two days off before I can use the tool again. ... show more
