I have an Ego electric mower that I love. I must say that the string trimmer is amazing! It is super powerful and did the job much quicker than I could have ever imagined. After using the EGO Power+ MPS1001 10-inch Pole Saw extensively in my yard, I must say, I'm quite impressed with its performance. Straight out of the box, the assembly was easy and intuitive, which made getting started a breeze. The saw feels robust and well-built, inspiring confidence in its durability and longevity. The real strength of the MPS1001 lies in its power. Despite being battery-operated, it doesn't lack in performance. It effortlessly cuts through branches that my old pole saw struggled with, making it a valuable tool for any yard work or pruning needs. Adjusting the length of the pole is straightforward and the overall balance of the saw is commendable. This makes it easier to handle, especially when reaching for those high branches. The 10-inch bar and chain are also capable of handling thicker branches, providing a clean cut every time. One particular feature I appreciate is the battery life. It's long-lasting, allowing me to get a substantial amount of work done on a single charge. Plus, the fact that it's part of the EGO Power+ system means I can swap batteries with other EGO tools, adding to its convenience. This is the second EGO tool I’ve purchased from their 56-Volt system. The first was the EGO Power+ LB7654 765 CFM Variable-Speed Cordless Leaf Blower. Seeing I already had a 5,000 mAH battery and charger I purchased the new Edger and Power Head unit without the battery and charger option. The EGO Power+ 8-Inch Edger Attachment & Power Head unit is an absolutely fantastic tool. It took me a while to decide on purchasing a battery powered edger. I’ve always used a gas powered edger but my current unit wouldn’t start, again, so I checked out a replacement gasoline plus considered a battery powered unit. Needless to say, I finally decided on the battery powered unit. As a note, this is the second EGO 56 Volt tool I’ve acquired, the other is their blower, and if it’s possible this is an even better tool than the blower. The unit was easy to ASSEMBLE, it only took only a few minutes to check over the accompanying literature and assemble the unit. In terms of USE the edger unit is great. It’s well balanced and very easy to MANEUVER. For my first project I edged more than 400 feet of beds. As a note, I was able to edge more than 300 feet on a single charge of the 5,000 mAH battery, impressive. I’m going to be replacing a number of other gasoline powered tools with battery powered tools and if they’re available, they’ll be from EGO. Again, an absolutely great product. As a note, I have now also purchased the EGO Power+ HTA2000 20-inch Hedge Trimmer Attachment for EGO 56-Volt Multi Head System.     • Heavy, But Durable
Pattern Name: Attachment Style: 20-In. Hedge Trimmer & Power Head Kit
I have some hedges that are 9-10 feet high & my ladder days are long gone. I had a "Greenworks" dedicated extended pole hedge trimmer that broke in half while trimming some high hedges. After some arguing back & forth, Greenworks sent me a replacement - that also split in half after 5 uses. It's not worth ending up in the ER for stitches, so I disposed of it. Since I already have EGO Leaf Blower, String Trimmer & short Hedge Trimmer, and have been very happy with them, I purchased this extended "Power Head" set. It's rather pricey, but it is very durable & it came with another battery & charger (I now have 4). Assembly took 5 minutes. I immediately snapped in one of my batteries & tested it. It works perfectly & (unlike the Greenworks), there is no flex when cutting thicker hedges. The two switches that must be depressed are located exactly where they should be. The speed is variable & the run time is great. I had already used the battery previously in the leaf blower and small hedge trimmer & it had plenty of run time left. The batteries charge quickly. Today, I used the extended hedge trimmer on tall weeds in my back yard, which is 1/2 acre. I set the angle of the blades parallel to the ground as instructed in the manual. With a sweeping motion, it cuts a nice, wide path. The only negative side of this tool is its weight & lack of balance - especially when using it for overhead trimming. Of course, that may not be an issue with younger people. I'm 68 & I was really worn out after 30 minutes of use. But I'd rather have a heavier tool that won't break than a lighter tool that's dangerous to use. ... show more

This attachment absolutely cleans artificial grass well, but it is heavy with lots of power so it takes strength and stability to use. Make no mistake, it works, but it isn't lightweight.
