I really like this mower. It's light weight and easy to use. The attachments are easy to use. I honestly can't tell you about battery life. My yard is so small, I can mow the whole thing in about 30 minutes. My only complaint is it uses a 2 blade system. There are 4 blades and they must be paired up properly, but there are no markings to tell you what two blades work together. ... show more

I had to work through EGO (no help there) and Amazon support to get an alternative battery. Battery charged after two hours. I can't wait to see run time after the rain lets up. The battery Amazon supplied had short run time 12 to 18 minutes. The vendor had me ship it to them and then disappeared. Upon thinking back the box was resealed, so I suspect it was not new or someone in supply was tampering with the merchandise. Do not buy from Amazon. ... show more

Love, love, love this mower!! The ease of use is fantastic! We have a yard that is 90 feet wide by 120 feet deep. The battery gives us enough power to mow the entire yard and then some. The mower is lightweight, thus making it easy to move. The height of the push bar makes it easy on our backs (as all of us in the house are six foot plus). Again, we love this mower!!! ... show more

I researched and this was the top rated battery mower. It was on sale at a local Hardware store, so I bought it to replace my cheap hard-to-start gas mower. As others have said, it is light-weight, and thus easy to maneuver. It cuts grass great, but the exit chute does get clogged easily if the yard is slightly damp, or the grass is slightly high. I now mow about twice a week (in the deep South) so that I just glide along and trim the lawn. I liked this one so much, I bought the self-propelled model for my 3/4 acre lake house yard. That model is MUCH heavier and harder to maneuver, but since I have to mow up and down slight inclines, the self-propelled feature was important. It took me some months to realize the little control knob that makes it go faster or slower; the default speed was so slow I got discouraged. Also, that feature works even when the mower is not cutting. I have used the bag, the mulching plug, and the exit chute, so I recommend the plug for most jobs. Note that I won't be buying other 56v battery-operated tools - they are just too heavy. ... show more

I've had an EGO motor for at least two years now and the batteries has been failing from the first few months onward. It constantly shuts down and starts flashing red about every 15-20 minutes. Then you have to pop the battery out give it a few minutes and put it back in and then its fine for another 15-20 minutes. Save your money and get a better mower, one with better battery technology. ... show more
