I really like how you can control the power with the trigger. From almost nothing to super powerful. Long-lasting battery. Somewhat heavy, but with the shoulder strap it’s fine. Instructions should show where to attach shoulder strap and how to wear it. I had to search YouTube for that.

Without a doubt this is the best blower I have ever owned. This is a grab and go tool, no need to keep a battery always charging. One charge lasts me weeks! The power is comparable to popular gas blowers. From start to finish I generally spend 10 minutes per week, after mowing, blowing grass and walking between areas. This lightweight powerful tool is quieter than a gas blower while working, with the additional benefit of being silent while walking from place to place. No messy fuel, no pulling a starter cord, just squeeze the trigger and go. I would definitely buy this EGO blower again but it's holding up so well I don't think I'll need new batteries for years and I expect the tool to much longer. ... show more

The 765 CFM model is definitely way more powerful than my Ryobi blower was - by a long way. I was considering gas models because I needed something strong enough to blow wet leaves and gravel off our deteriorating asphalt driveway, but I was concerned about the convenience and maintenance of a gas blower. Decided to pull the trigger on this when it was on sale for$270. I charged it up and it does blow hard!! Did a very good job on gravel and wet leaves. I used the turbo off and on and the battery lasted long enough for my job. That said, I had to keep switching hands very often, and even found myself using 2 hands at times, especially on turbo to help brace the blower. It's a workout! The other thing I noticed is that after using it on turbo, when I went to charge the battery, it gave a temperature warning and I had to let it cool before it would charge. I'm satisfied with my purchase, as this gives me the convenience I sought with the power of gas. The weight is less than ideal, but it makes sense there would need to be compromises having something this powerful. Now I just hope the blower and battery last, as they are not cheap! ... show more

I like that this is portable and powerful. It is kind of heavy but takes much less time to blow leaves. It really beats my corded shop vacuum blower that I have struggled with for years. I did not want a gas powered blower as they are loud and a backpack on a roof is dangerous. The battery life is not very impressive especially in turbo mode however I have the fast charger from my mower that recharges relatively fast. Still satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

A friend of mine has one and recommended it to me. I have a back-pack gas unit, but no longer want to use it and the electrics I have owned left a lot to be desired in so far as battery life. It's powerful, but don't ask it to do what a gas unit can do. It will move thick, wet clumps of leaves, but it wouldn't be my choice if there was a lot of them. Like most electrics, it works best on smooth surfaces, but I did tackle the rock drive and it was fine. Don't get me wrong; this IS a powerful blower and I have no problem recommending it as all around blower and if I only had one, this would be it. The battery is the heart of this blower, but with that power comes weight. I will be getting a nice shoulder strap for it. Someone commented that it was not balanced well. I disagree. When you hold it to do work, it is tilted at exactly the angle I want to use for blowing leaves. Drying a car? I have no idea. I like the trigger for sure, but the feature I liked the most was the dial that set continuous power to whatever is needed. You can add power by pulling the trigger. I can run it for twenty minutes at maybe 30% (using the trigger sometimes) and only use about 20% of the charge. The battery is wicked big and has a charger to match; with a cooling fan no less. Charge level is indicated on the battery in 20% increments. I like it and would buy it again, but like I said, it's heavy. Hope this helps! ... show more
