  • Best mower I’ve ever purchased
I’ve been extremely happy with this EGO mower. It was easy to assemble, starts instantly every time, and has plenty of power to cut through thick grass without any issues. The battery lasts long enough to mow my entire yard, and I appreciate how much quieter it is compared to a gas mower. It’s also lightweight, easy to maneuver, and stores conveniently. Overall, this has been an excellent purchase. If you’re looking for a reliable, powerful, and easy-to-use mower, I would definitely recommend this EGO mower to anyone. It’s well worth the investment! ... show more

  • Great electric mower!
I have been well pleased with this mower. I was staunchly in the gas is better crowd for years. I had a gas mower and I couldn't see any reason to switch. What changed my mind was getting a battery powered EGO chainsaw. I wanted something I could keep in my SUV all the time for camping. I didn't want gas fumes so I opted to get electric. It has been awesome. I cut down multiple trees on my hunting property with ease. Anyways, that is a different review. When my gas mower died I rolled the dice and ordered this lawnmower. Wow. It is easier for my 15 year old son to use, it is quiet, and I no longer have to transport gas. I already have the chainsaw and two batteries, so I have extra capacity for both now. This mower also comes with a fast charger. In my experience, I can mow about half an acre on one battery charge. That is using the self-propelled feature on about 3/4 max speed. Battery life can be extended if you don't use the self-propelled. The mower is lighter than my old gas one, so it is easier to maneuver. Given the many upsides for my use case, I recommend this mower wholeheartedly. It isn't the cheapest option, but it is probably the best value I could find for an electric mower. I wish I had the string trimmer and other outdoor tools to match. Maybe I will get them in the future. ... show more

  • Best on the market
Fantastic! I paid for assembly. Lawn mower arrived four days later assembled. Great timing. The man assembling told me this is a really good - the best battery operated mower on the market!!! I had foot deep grass in my goats field. Some areas I leave tall for shade grass for our ducks. Mower cut beautifully! Over small twigs - I leave the bag off for mulching. Read and follow the instructions to start. It must be done in order for the blade to be turned on. Nice feature to have the blade off and self propel back to the storage. We have 2 acres. The goat field did use up one battery charge. Self propel takes more power. The field is not usually that deep. (The gas mower died. ) Note: I’m 60. I run a farm. I’m pretty good shape. However I tore my rotator cuff ripped off my bicep chasing a goat- wiped out. Surgery was last summer. PT took almost a year. This mower is light weight! I can turn corners with ease. My shoulder isn’t aching after mowing. Yay!!! I love mowing. Btw, it’s a quiet mower. Didn’t scare my ducks or goats like the gas mower did! ... show more

  • Nice mower, but probably needs the extra battery
'k, so this is my take after the first use.... I have a small, very flat lawn. And the battery BARELY lasted long enough to get the whole thing in one go. I was pushing the mower myself for ~90% of the time (i.e. NOT using the self propelled ability). I WAS able to finish, but it was blinking red at the end) Pros: - Super lightweight to move around and easy to steer (even 1 handed). It'd be VERY easy to use by a kid or small adult. - Adjustable Height of the handle was great, even for me (I'm 6'3" and this is the first time in my life I DIDN'T have a back ache from bending over using the mower) - The self propelling ability is speed adjustable - Collapses easily for storage - No grease, oil, smelly gas cans, exhaust - It's quiet (think large oscillating fan) Cons: - A normal to larger sized lawn would definitely require the purchase of a 2nd battery (comes with 1 battery and a charger) - Tended to clog and stop when I hit some taller grass (6 plus inches). Had to take it much slower even when using the side chute and not a bagger. Overall: So far, after this first use, I would easily recommend buying it if you can afford the 2nd battery with it. If you don't mind doing it in stages (i.e. mow the front and side lawns, break to recharge the battery for an hour or so while you weed whack, mow the back lawn, etc. ) you COULD get away with one battery as well. ... show more

  • Nice machine, works well for me
I have a smallish lot that's very shaded, so I don't have to do a tremendous amount of mowing. I probably use my mower more for leaf cleanup/mulching in the fall than I do for grass. This machine replaces a long-running Honda. As well made as the Honda was, this is even better. No having to winterize, clean the carburetor, keep gas around, treat the gas, and all the other parts of keeping an ICE going. Also, since there's no pull start, my kids and my wife can also be voluntold to cut the lawn. I have a bunch of other EGO tools so this one slotted in well with my ever growing collection. The machine is also considerably lighter than the Honda, too, making it much easier for wife/kids to use, and the battery lasts pretty much exactly as long as I need it to, about 45 minutes. It's also considerably less noisy than the ICE mower, which is another plus. The Honda only had bag or mulch options, I like that this one came with mulch, bag, and side discharge. Side discharge works a lot better when the leaves start getting really thick. ... show more

  • Easy to use and quiet
Worth the money. No more gas or oil to deal with. Runs smoothly and quietly. Battery lasts for two mows, my yard is not large but have to maneuver around yard things. Best mower I have ever purchased.

  • Warranty Service
I purchased this mower on 5/4/2025. The mower has very little sucking power, and I have to cut my lawn twice to remove all of the grass clippings. It also has rear wheel drive, so if you like to do wheelies and have an uneven cut this is the lawn mower for you. On 4/3/2026, I placed my battery in the charger, and it would not charge. I called EGO, and they were closed until Monday due to the holiday. I went online and did all the troubleshooting it said to do, to no avail. I called EGO on Monday and spoke to Fisher, but he would not give me his last name. He asked for the battery serial number, which I had, but also wanted the serial numbers for the charger and the mower. Not sure why, but I went home Tuesday night and got what they asked for. I called again on Tuesday and spoke to Johnathan; again, he would not give his last name. I gave him all of the requested information. I was told they would send me an email, and I had to send them the proof of purchase. Which I did ASAP. I asked them how long it would take to get a new battery, and he said over a week. Are you kidding me? This is customer service? Now I have to borrow a lawn mower to cut my grass. Stay away from EGO. I have a 3-year warranty, and I should not have had to jump through hoops to get a new battery, because the battery that they sent me didn't even last 1 year. Check on Marketplace, see how many of these mowers are for sale, and you will see mine soon. ... show more
