Product was priced way lower that local stores and was the same quality they were selling. I would recommend avoiding other brand batteries since they don't seem the same quality than EGO branded batteries.     • Heavy / Pricey / Makes a difference
The 2.5 amp battery that came with my blower does not last very long, I bought the 5.0 amp and it is a world of difference, in providing power as well as use time. I can keep the blower on Turbo high for over 30 minutes per run which just about allows me to completely blow my whole back yard. (combination of pine straw and leaves.) When I get it worn down, then I put the 2.5 battery back in and finish the job. Between the two of them, makes the blower a lot more useful.     • Used For Three Years
I have had had these batteries for three years with a snow blower and mower. The batteries were made in Dec of ‘20 and I purchased in Oct of ‘21. They have lasted through most of my snowblowing of a two car driveway, and sidewalks on moderate, dry snows. I have had to recharge on heavier, wetter snows. For lawn mowing, I use a single battery at a time and they have worked pretty well, although the run time on them has decreased a bit. The warranty is good for three years. They charge pretty quickly on the rapid charger. I just purchased a 7.5 ah one for this year’s winter to pair with these. I do like the flexibility of use on multiple EGO products. The weight works for heavier tools, but it was a concern when shopping for weed eaters, and I ended up going with a competitor brand for battery and equipment. There are lower priced options with off brand sellers, but after reading the reviews, I went with a sure thing. ... show more

    • Batteries are good as long as you don’t freeze them
I forgot to bring in my 5 amp batteries after snowblowing. They sat in the shed with no heat and minus 5 to minus ten temperature. This was this cold for about a week. They all are inside this start of winter. Love the devices and a 5 amp battery on the snowblower does very well.

    • Expensive, but powerful and long life.
The 5-amp batteries are fine for all of the smaller EGO devices. A quick charger can recharge them in about an hour. The battery is adequate, but not satisfactorily powerful or lasting as a 10-amp battery for lawn mowers and snow-throwers. It's worth the expense to have at least one spare on hand.

Works great! Needed longer lasting power than my 2.5 amp! This will do it! I have a 1/3 acre property in Phoenix, weekly cleanup will be easier now!

    • These batteries are junk.
Just purchased another one of these batteries because the last two of them didn't last but about a year. I receive this one only to find that the serial number shows it as April 2022! Why are they selling old used batteries!
