Seriously...this thing is epic. The whole kit - washer and accessories - is beautifully packed into a relatively small box that is surprisingly light. Combined with the bucket feed filter, this thing is portable and nearly self-contained...the lack of garden hose runs and power cord is AWESOME. I bought it to be able to descale my 2nd floor bathroom shower and I was able to do so as effectively as my "fully wired" Sun Joe without the nightmare of running a hose out the bathroom window down to the spigot on the first floor. 3 fills of my 5 gallon bucket from the tub faucet and 20 mins later, the job was done perfectly. The 6Ah battery had no problems with the job between long low power and quick medium power sweeps with the 25 degree head. My only concern is how it has a little bit of a challenge priming the pump from each new bucket fill. It didn't take long and was no inconvenience, but the struggle has me wondering if I'm shaving life off the pump like alcohol chips away at your liver. If so, it's a tradeoff I'm willing to make for the convenience, but it would be very good to know so I can make an informed decision (just like my liver example). I've only used it once so I can't speak to longevity of the washer or accessories yet. ... show more

Best thing I ever bought! Seriously... I had batteries from my Ego snowblower. Not having to plug this in is huge. Being able to transport it anywhere and use a bucket of water as the supply water is fabulous. No more extension cords, no more extension hoses. I like to take it mountain biking with a jug of fresh water and clean my bike after a ride. Also the hose is long enough to go around my whole car without having to move the pressure washer. I bought a stubby Spray gun from Harbor Freight and it fit perfectly. I find it easier to use on my bike than the long one that came with it, although the long one is better for the car.     • Be realistic in your expectations!
Style: Tool Only - No Battery/Charger
This is not to be compared to a gas powered pump with AAA pumps and Honda engines. I’d dare say that nor is the bigger brother of this unit (the 3200 psi) to be compared to my commercial grade one. Having said that, don’t expect to pressure washer wash your house with it. It is designed for smaller projects-which is exactly what I use mine for. I wash my cars with it, and I really enjoy the convenience of not having to lug out my commercial grade pressure washer for such a smaller job. I have several Ego batteries, so that’s not an issue for me. Although I think one would go through several batteries if trying to run a detailing business, so I’d pass on this if that’s the case. It’s really well built and the form factor is well thought out (although I wish it rolled on wheels). The PSI is just enough for smaller chores. I’ll give it 4 stars because I had to fork out $79 for its premium foam cannon. My Griot’s Garage cannon (which I LOVE) wouldn’t work with it because it requires stronger pressure. I tried it with my Dewalt pressure gun. The premium Ego foam cannon is awesome, but just know it is proprietary if decide to you invest in it. Overall I feel like this unit will last a long time if you take care of it. Also note the 25 ft replacement hose is $99, so take care of it! It’s fine for this unit, but don’t use it with a “real” pressure washer as it’ll most likely burst instantly, lol. BTW…I paid less for my much longer steel braided pressure washer hoses! This surprised me by being both much more convenient than my old electric power washer but also more powerful. The build quality is high, as ever from Ego, and it does the job very effectively. Battery life is low, as you'd expect (on a par with using a blower on turbo), and the bucket-siphon option is only for very small jobs, as 5 gallons disappears in 4 minutes. Still, the pressure itself is very good, and the unit is very compact, and (without the battery) very light. ... show more

It it a great, portable, lightweight machine and it runs surprisingly long on fully charged batteries. It does NOT give you the peak power of a plug-in or gas-powered pressure washer so this might not be right for a very tough job. However, it will do just fine for the vast majority of normal pressure washing tasks on the "high" setting. The "turbo" runs the battery down very quickly without a noticeable difference in effect from "high." I'd buy it again. ... show more

    • Drains batteries FAST!!

The weakest EGO tool I own. I have numerous EGO products, chainsaw, string trimmer, tree pruner, push mower to name a few and the power washer is the poorest of them all. The battery (6 amp) will last only 10 minutes and the 4 amp about 7 minutes before they have to be charged. The battery is fully drained, and I have a rapid charger, and it takes longer than normal to get them recharged. When you use the power washer with a bucket and not a hose it frequently shuts off because it isn’t pulling enough water out of the bucket. I have used a clean bucket so no debris was in it to clog up the filter or nozzle. I truly love the EGO brand and have invested thousands of dollars in their tools for my yard and home maintenance and by far this is the lowest quality of their products that I have encountered. ... show more

I have an Ego presssure washer, an Ego lawnmower, an Ego trimmer, and an Ego leaf blower, and they all work great. The batteries are expensive, but you really can't match the convenience of using these tools without having to plug them in. They seem at least as powerful as the gas-powered and electric alternatives, but they're way more convenient and are very well designed. Ego deserves a lot of credit because it really has made the electric and gas-powered alternatives seem almost obsolete. ... show more
