Let's start with the obvious: this is a battery powered machine, and as such, it has a limited runtime on a single charge. If you are a person that needs to use a power washer for large projects and/or long periods of time in a single session, you probably do not want a battery powered machine. So if you plan on getting all of your power washing needs for the year done in a single weekend, this is probably not for you. But if you are like me, and get in an hour here and an hour there throughout the year, then read on.... Out of the box: Set up is very easy. You need a Phillips screw driver to attach the wand mounts, but that is the only tool you need. Total time from unboxing to useable is about 15 minutes...but you will want to get the batteries charged first, so figure 2 hours. Use: VERY easy to use. Simply attach to a water supply hose, choose your nozzle, hit the power and go. I have not used the siphon function or the foam spray, so I have no comment on those accessories. I imagine that the siphon feature, which allows you to draw water from a pond, a pool, a barrel, or other standing water source, might be very important for a portable battery powered unit, but I personally don't have a need for these features and therefore have not used them. Portability: The unit is easily portable and relatively light weight without the batteries. There is an area of my property that is only accessible from the interior of my home, so I have to lug the power washer through my house and up stairs. With this unit I can do this easily and not worry about spilling gas or getting any odors from a gasoline engine in my house. I also don't have to worry about extension cords which would be needed for a plug-in unit. Runtime: I have been consistently getting 40 minutes of nearly continuous runtime on two fully charged 6 Ah batteries (supplied with the unit) when I operate in the "HIGH" setting. I have not needed to operate in the "Turbo" setting, but based on other reviews and the owners manual, continuous operation in "TURBO" will reduce runtime to 15-20 minutes, but I have not confirmed this. "ECO" mode, which I have not been using, should get you to a full hour of continuous use, but again, I have not confirmed this. Performance: Bottom line...OUTSTANDING. Better than any plug-in electric washer I have used. Not as good as some of the best gas powered washers I have used, but honestly you cannot expect it to be. At the end of the day, this unit has more than enough pressure (psi) and water throughput (gallons/hour) to handle the vast majority of a home owners tasks. Leaks: I have read some other reviews that complain about the poor fit of the quick releases and subsequent leakage. I have not seen this problem. I haven't seen a single drip from any of the fittings so far with my use, even when I left the unit attached to a pressured water supply overnight. Other: I love that the nozzles fit right into the top of the unit for easy storage and accessibility. Batteries: The unit comes with two 6 Ah, 56 V batteries. You MUST use two fully charged batteries in the unit at the same time. Don't even think about using only one battery or mixing a partially charged battery with a fully charged one..the unit will run, but runtime will be limited to the lowest charged battery. And do NOT mix and match batteries...probably only an issue for those of you who have other EGO products that might use a 2.5 Ah, 4 Ah or 5 Ah battery. Be sure to ONLY use the 6 Ah batteries together as a pair, and that they are fully charged when you start. I suspect that some of the battery runtime complaints are a result of not using both batteries at a full charge, mixing batteries or only using one battery. Summary: I don't need, nor do I want, to be power washing for hours at a time. My needs require portability, cleanliness and performance for relatively short (approximately 30 minute) projects a few times a week. This EGO unit fits perfectly into that niche. From a performance and ease of use perspective, it is way better than my last two plug-in electric power washers. I have used gas powered washers that were better from a speed of cleaning perspective, but there isn't anything that the EGO hasn't been able to clean for me at this point..with the caveat that it may take a bit more time. Cons: 1. Expensive...seriously expensive. One can easily get the same power washing performance for less than half the price. So you are paying a lot for the portability. 2. Only comes with one battery charger...this is ridiculous considering the cost of the unit and that it requires two batteries. EGO should definitely ship this unit with two chargers so you can charge both batteries simultaneously. That being said, if you buy this washer, you likely have other EGO equipment and therefore are not short on chargers. 3. Limited runtime...again, this is inherent to any battery powered piece of equipment. If you need hours of continuous runtime, either buy more batteries or select a plug-in electric or gas powered unit. Hope this helps!

I replaced my gas pressure washer with the EGO Pressure Washer 3200 psi. My gas pressure washer worked great when I could get it started. It just got to be too difficult for me. I have owned several other EGO products for several years + and have been very happy with them. While the washer is higher-priced, it was an easy decision for me to buy it. The EGO products are all very well-built and perform beautifully, just about as well as their gas counterparts. My experience right out of the box was very good. Assembly was easy with just a Phillips screwdriver needed for two mounts. Everything else is already assembled such as the handle and the wheels. The handle pulls up to whatever height is convenient. The wheels roll the washer along easily. There are battery power indicator lights as well as the power setting indicator on the trigger. It comes with two wands to attach to one another. Quick release connectors are incorporated. Several tips for a variety of applications are included. Lastly, you won't need your ear protection, just safety glasses. There was a long, ugly set of tire tracks from an oil fuel truck left from it struggling to get through ice on a slight incline. I used my pressure washer detergent for concrete in the included foam applicator and let it set for a few minutes. I then attached the Turbo tip and pressed the Turbo button and watched the tire tracks almost magically disappear. Since I have some high-capacity batteries I was able to insert two of them and get through the entire job successfully. It is important to have at least two 6.0 Ah batteries (as come with the pressure washer with batteries). Con: While the pressure for washing is great, the 1.2 gpm for rinsing is slow, slower than gas models. Also, while 1.2 gpm works adequately with a surface cleaner (I purchased a 15" version) it is not as effective or quick as a 2.5 gpm or higher unit with the higher volume of water. All said, this pressure washer is great for smaller home jobs and will pay for itself.

All right, I read through dozens of reviews before purchasing this, and I would have to say most of the reviews seem very accurate especially the ones that talk about how much power this thing uses and how fast it burns through the batteries. But more than anything I will say this is a quality build product. I am impressed with Ego all the way around. It was really a straightforward and easy set up. There are so many great fittings and fixtures and additions for making each job easy and customizable. I just love how much thought goes into the design of Ego products they do not cut corners. The pressure was great. The extra turbo type settings deliver real power when you need it I feel like this is the product that’s going to last. My mom had a stroke about two months ago and she wanted her back patio power washed this delivered. She said as much power as the professionals would come out and done her patio in the past and even though she’s 83 she kept wanting to do some of the patio herself and she would take the sprayer away from me because she said it looks like so much fun and it was! I would say this is a good bang for the buck and I already had 610 amp batteries so the power issue was no problem as far as I was concerned

Works really well and can handle the toughest stuff. Comes well accessorized and everything works. Took off one star for how fast it drains the batteries. Power washed the stairwell to my basement, a door and a few small (3'x3') areas and went through TWO rounds of batteries for a total of 4 (5.6 amp) batteries. Would HIGHLY recommend that EGO add a plug-in option like they have on some of their fans where you can plug-in an extension cord and keep going. Then it would be a solid 5-STAR product!

Easy to setup and start cleaning. I had two 10amp batteries I bought prior to use with a lawnmower. Happy I did because this thing crushes batteries in turbo mode. It draws from both at the same time so you'd need four batteries and two chargers to do a multi hour job

I wish I had bought this sooner. After 2 cheaper, gas powered pressure washers failed me and would stop working during my using them, I decided to buy this unit and I'm impressed. It's refreshing to just hook up a garden hose, put your two fully charged batteries in, and get to work. It has more than enough power for any home owner and what you throw at it. Easy to put together right out of the box and make sure you download the EGO app on your smart phone and register your purchase right away, to make sure you have all the warranty protection you need. The battery life is pretty good too and they are easy and quick to recharge. This is my 3rd EGO product and I will be buying more in the future. For what I paid, it's a good value for the money and the $1000 dollar pressure washer I bought from a box box store, gave me nothing but problems and is why I switched to this one instead. I don't think you can go wrong with the EGO pressure washer.

Works fine. I had a bunch of batteries to use so got the bare tool. Pretty expensive for what it is but I think Ego are quality tools. Really chews through the batteries but I knew it would. Drained a 7.5 amp and 6 amp battery cleaning the dark gunk off my 25 foot, 3 foot wide sidewalk and small stoop using the turbo nozzle. Was easyto wash my truck with battery to spare using the same setup but with the widest nozzle. 40-45 degrees if I recall. Box was pretty dinged up in transit but no damage inside.

It will require 6.0 AH batteries, without them this product has about a half hour run time with the 5.0 and the 2.5 is about 15minutes. Their former bottle doesnt have the volume to adiquately wash anything bigger than a miata, the pressure is great but the gpm is so low that this cant do a lot of work, its a fun toy but its just that, a toy. Would return if possible but the box is gone. Assembly is easy, not very versatile, dont expect to pressure wash a driveway, its quite and compact but can be quite heavy with batteries.
