The SHENDER Egg Incubator is a very thoughtfully designed unit that has the potential to hatch a lot of eggs. I reviewed an incubator about this same time last year of nearly identical design, and found that this style of incubator has many features that a lot of the more expensive, name brand incubators do not have when it comes to cleanliness. Complete with everything you need to get started, excluding the eggs, a very easy to read instruction manual comes with the unit even to include a cute "thank you" card and customer support contact. I'd highly recommend reading the instructions thoroughly a couple of times to help get you hatching off to an immediate success. The SHENDER Egg Incubator incorporates ALL of the electronic functions; heat, humidity sensors, egg turner motor, digital display, candler, power circuitry, in a removable upper unit. It is very easy to take apart and completely remove this section when cleaning the unit before and after every hatch. All the lower parts of the unit can then be submerged in soapy water and sanitized. This for me is a game changer. I can't fairly rate the hatch performance of the SHENDER Egg Incubator simply because there are many factors beyond the control of the manufacturer; cleanliness, egg cleanliness, egg quality, proper humidity and temperature levels, keeping the unit properly monitored and maintained daily. Things that will solely affect the overall hatch rate. These things are the responsibility of the user and not the incubator. What I can rate for is the operation of which I find the SHENDER Egg Incubator to be a very capable machine that is very easy to use. Once I gave the unit a first time use cleaning, I set it up and let it run for a couple of days before adding any eggs. The unit reached the proper temperature within a couple of hours and maintained that temperature consistently for at least the next 48 hours before adding eggs. The unit also maintained a desired level of humidity as well by using the included water bottles. I've owned quite a few incubators over the years, even some high capacity commercial grade units. It seems that this style of incubator has learned from many of the previous incubator manufacturers and improved on all the drawbacks of each of them. While the hatching capacity of 18 eggs at a time per batch may seem limited, keep in mind that many commercial hatcheries offer small, custom hatches where 18 is a perfect number of birds to produce. Overall I think the SHENDER Egg Incubator is a great incubator that will bring many hours of enjoyment to both young and old, backyard poultry enthusiasts as well as experienced poultry folks. Everything about this incubator rings quality and at this price point, I'd highly recommend the SHENDER Egg Incubator. I may take pictures at a later date, but I think the product page shows you everything you need to know about this fantastic incubator! Five stars.

I’ve been using this egg incubator and overall I’m really happy with it, especially for the price. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a smaller egg incubator that still has solid features. One of my favorite things is the automatic turning, it takes a lot of the hassle out of the process and makes it much easier to manage. I also like that it tracks and displays the number of days the eggs have been incubating. That’s super helpful, especially if you’re keeping a close eye on development. The handling and overall functionality are simple and user-friendly, which is great whether you’re new to incubating or more experienced. It’s set up for chicken eggs by default, but I appreciate that you can adjust it for other types of eggs too, which makes it more versatile. The only downside I noticed was toward the end of the incubation period, where I had a bit of trouble keeping the humidity exactly where I wanted it. It wasn’t a huge issue, but something to be aware of. Overall though, for the price point, I definitely think it’s worth it. It’s reliable, easy to use, and does a great job for small batches.

I’ve been running this unit for a week and so far it’s been great. Setup was straightforward and the controls are easy to use. The LED display makes adjusting temperature and humidity simple and the readings have stayed steady, which takes a lot of the worry out of the incubation process. Automatic egg turning works quietly and the gravity water bottles for humidity refill really do keep levels steady without opening the lid. The 360 degree clear top is brilliant for checking development without disturbing the eggs. It comes with two trays so you can load up to 18 chicken eggs or swap in the smaller tray for quail, and the construction feels tidy and well finished. I can’t report hatch rates yet since I’ve only had it a week, but for anyone new to hatching or who wants a low-fuss setup this unit does exactly what it promises. This model from SHENDER is worth a look if you want a compact, feature-rich incubator that takes most of the guesswork out of the process.

The incubator works well, holds temp good, my humidity meter showed it held a consistent humidity however 2 water bottles is a bit over kill on such a small incubator. I tend to run the humidity on the lower end since my house has consistent low humidity I don't tend to have to mess with it a lot. The end turner tray is nice but the spot the eggs sit in are a bit big. It's easy to set up, it has a solid build however I would recommend covering the bottom with paper towels or something because the mesh tray the chicks hatch on is not ideal but it's better then some high end ones that are smooth. I just put paper towel down after cutting it to fit and it did great. The curved sides were a bit tight for full size chicks but overall it worked and I had a great hatch. If I can get at least a few runs out of it I'll be happy.
