I do not think this was meant to turn swamp green water clear. I think it’s meant to keep it from getting that far. Meaning you still have to open the pool the same way (balance, vacuum, chlorine, etc). Once your water is clear, you add this as a preventative. It was only just added to my already clear water, so we will see if it holds out the full month as advertised. If it does, I will be very happy because the stuff I have is weekly. Anything to reduce the number of steps means its less time wasting on the pool. I’ll give it five stars for now, because so far, I am happy. I will update if I am not.

Pool chemicals are expensive seven more so with inflation at such high levels these days! This is a good value pack of algaecide. A half a bag treats our pool, so lasts us awhile, too.
