I was reluctant to order this little fridge/freezer as we purchased a BougeRV years ago to take in our car with us when we travelled. We recently purchased a van RV and RougeRV didn’t offer a small enough version to fit in a tight space. Based on everyone’s reviews, we decided to buy this one. We took it on a 8 day trip and it kept our frozen contents cold the entire time. Love having the battery. During the day while driving it would run off the battery and then at night it was plugged into electricity. So far so good. I will update my review after it’s been on the road a few more times. It is quiet, the size is perfect for where we need it, it kept the temperature even and really love the handle to carry around as needed.

Cooler work pretty good with just two issues, 1) as noted in other reviews the temperature setting is off from actual temperature. Placed a bottle of soda and water, it took to 18 degrees for the water to freeze. Personally that not a real show stopper, and the last non show stopper is I which they would not have made it to run off a rechargeable battery. For me it in my car or garage but you loose a large amount of cooler space. about 5 inch wide and 3 inches high with about 3.3/4 inch deep

I am torn with this. I love the form factor - it's exactly the size and configuration I need. It sips power. The price is reasonable. But, it is consistently 10 degrees warmer than the set point, regardless of the set point - if I set it at 22, it is actually 32. If I set it at 40, it's actually 50. I used several thermometers and got the same readings on all. I thought the first one I got was defective, so I returned it. That one had also been opened before, so I wondered if they sent me a defective one that had been previously returned. The replacement came quickly and has the exact same problem. That being said, because it is consistently off, I can calibrate it and be pretty confident I know what the actual temperature is. The construction is good but it seems pretty light which concerns me for long term reliability. But with all that, I'm keeping it and hope it lasts the test of time.

This works as described. It can be a freezer or refrigerator it can freeze a water bottle. It comes with adapter to plug into the wall or a cigarette lighter. I also purchased the battery so it can run anywhere. I intend to use this for weekend camping and road trips. The benefit is not having to worry about ice, this saves space, time and keeps items dry(no soggy sandwich). The downside is it is heavy when empty (compared to a similar size cooler) and for the cost you can buy a lot of ice. Just keeping Beer cold get a cooler and ice but if you want to take ice cream on a 4 hour drive this thing is the way to go.

Got this to go camping for a weekend. I made sure the battery pack was fully charged before I left. I stopped for food and drinks and popped the battery in. After ordering food and drinks the cooler was displaying an E1 error. I plugged it into my 1k watt battery via DC and it was going. There was not much room for 2 sandwiches and 2 bottles of soda. The cooler again was showing E1 and the food was not cold anymore. Took the battery out and left it just on the 1k watt one until we got to camp. Put the battery in and again at night E1. I looked up the instructions and it said E1 means the battery level is too high and to change it to M or L. I cycled through the settings but the level was at L and it would not let me change it. Just Eco and the temperature. I tried eco and keeping the cooler at a low temp because 38 was nowhere near 38. Still E1, thankfully plugging the cooler into just DC on the 1k watt battery got it working or everything would have been ruined. The temp did get down to 10 and froze a bottle of seltzer when it was working. I was able to fit a small bottle of soda, a 1 liter bottle of seltzer and 2 salads crushing one of them. It is too small for a long weekend with 2 people.

This is a well-built refrigerator/freezer capable of running on three different power sources. It's a little noisier than some of the other refrigerators that I have, but the portability makes up for the noise. I found that it was a little more power-hungry, drawing 54 watts at startup and settling down to 41 watts with the ECO setting. It runs at 66 watts on the MAX setting. The cool-down from room temperature to 36°F is rapid, I'd say about 10 minutes or less.

Love it! This freezer has been used in our semi for days. The battery works very well. We keep it set for 0° and it works incredibly well. It will freeze a bottle of water in a few hours. Frozen food stays frozen and regular food will freeze. We are purchasing another one as I type this to take on our trips in our other vehicles and to use for shopping. The device is built very strong. I weigh over 350 lbs and can sit on it with no concern for it's capability to hold my weight. All of the cords are heavy duty. It really works as good or better than advertised. IT IS NOT A COOLER. It is definitely a mobile refrigerator/freezer. It doesn't matter what the temperature the surrounding area is, if warmer, the unit still works just harder to keep the temperature that you set. I highly recommend this to campers, vacationing individuals, back up refrigerator for the house, and especially for my fellow truck drivers.
