I will say this won't get you hot and toasty, but this truly saved my hands from frostbite. Temps were set to be well below zero recently and I had to drive to work non stop so ordered due to good reviews and would receive fast. My drive is 30 minutes and if it wasn't for this blanket to keep one of my hands warm while the other steered I truly would have had some serious issues. I draped it across my seat over into the passenger seat, got in the driver’s seat then spread it back across my body, wrapped it around my hip then tucked it under my leg to hold in place. Took the chill off of my no idle layover. It’s warmer folded doubled. For more warmth you could layer it under a second blanket to hold the warmth in. It’s attractive and soft. It’s big enough to fold double in your lap.

And it's pretty bad even just as a blanket very thin. My nephew lives in colder weather. He hated going to the car when not in the garage before school. Now when the car is turned on, his blanket is turned on & his car seat is toasty! I got the lighter adapter plus the portable charger so they could take him to the zoo & use the blanket with wagon. He said it is soft & he loves the colors.
