I bought these to cold camp. They literally saved our trip. It got down to 16 degrees. We used them under our sleeping bags and they kept us warm. We also used a small electric heater to keep the air around 45 so sleeping was so nice. We were able to camp in conditions where we could not have tried without these blankets. When the temperature went up to 45 we just used them to heat the sleeping bags and turned them off. I highly recommend them for camping. Really nice. ... show more

This isn't something to write home about, it is nice and works. Cons: It is thin (but is warm as a blanket) Can feel the wires in the blanket (doesn't really bother me) Doesn't heat up super fast. Doesn't get crazy warm. You NEED to unplug it when you leave the car 🙄 I have a major squirrel brain at times. Pros: Soft and can be used as a regular blanket Easy to spot clean Size is very decent, it is not very small. Think throw blanket size. Gets the job done. If you want something that is going to work fast and get HEAT then you will probably have to spend the money to get something nicer. But for how much it costed and just needing a little extra wormth in the cold weather this is not a bad product. It could also be my car outlet/lighter that doesn't have the greatest strength and I have yet to try it in another vehicle. ... show more

I'm using my new blanket for camping and it is just perfect it's 12 volts plug in however it does not use that much power it's important to understand that this blanket is not like an electric blanket it does not get very warm or hot it is just a little bit warm just to be sure that you're not freezing on those cold nights. If you are looking for a deluxe electric blanket with heat control this one is probably not for you if you were looking for an inexpensive blanket you can keep in your vehicle and use when your legs are cold this is a good choice. Please also note that you need to plug it in to turn it on and pull the plug to turn it off it plugs into a standard cigarette or cigar outlet. I can say after using it two nights that it does not use that much power and it did not drain my battery keeping it on all night long however in my camper I do have multiple batteries. My wife is on blood thinners and gets cold easily. Although we use the car’s heater, it usually becomes too warm for me. This blanket covers her sufficiently that she stays toasty warm. Folds up when not in use and is easily stored. Very reasonably priced too.

This blanket is very soft and does get nice and toasty, eventually. I got this for my daughter who still rides in a booster in the back seat of my truck where the heat takes a while to get. On cold maine winter mornings it can be torture waiting for the truck to warm up so I got this a a possible solution. The blanket is extremely soft has a little bit of weight to it but, unfortunately, it takes forever to heat up as well so, by the time we get her to school it is working at full capacity unfortunately, too little too late also, there’s no power switch, so remembering to plug and unplug it is a bit of a nuisance ... show more

The heat quit working in my mother's car. I bought her (2) of the portable heaters you can plug into your car's lighter outlet. Neither worked. I got her this blanket as an "extra" Christmas gift. So far it has preformed well. Only used the blanket a few times but it draws about 50 watts when you turn it on then about 35 watts after warming. I have a 280 WH battery pack and it does not make it all night. Perhaps the battery pack is getting old and not holding a good charge any longer but I should be able to power the blanket all night. ... show more
