This is a straightforward smart corner Lamp. The app is easy to use and you can select any color your want, however I only use it for warm white light. It also comes with a remote with pre-set light modes to choose from. In the 2nd picture it is shown in broad daylight on a dim setting, maybe around 40%. From box to completed assembly took less than five minutes. I did not download the app that goes along with the light, as the remote works fine for how we use it. However, I was glad I saved the directions, as it has a particular series of setup/re-setup when unplugged and moved. Puts off nice light in a dark corner with a variety of colors to choose from. The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these lamps a little over one year ago. It is very easy to set up, and offers a plethora of LED-lighting options. The brightness could also be varied using the supplied remote control. I have always left both of them in the White Light setting just so we won't need to switch "ON" our Basement Lights while going there. About a week ago, one of the lights started flickering (as seen in the video). There's nothing I haven't done to try and fix it. It just won't work. I won't recommend it for anyone. ... show more

Updated review to 4 stars: After a week of not connecting to Alexa (which is why I spent the extra money on the modern version) it now seems to be working just fine. Alexa will turn on and off and dim to my requested brightness. Think it will do more but that is all I was really was looking for. Remote still doesn't work even with new batteries but I really did not want another remote so that's cool with me. The company did reach out to me 2x to see how they could help so I gave them a star just for that. In the day time, it's very minimal which is exactly what I wanted. At night, it's the perfect amount of ambiance. Hard to tell with the day light pic, but It fits that corner perfectly. Fingers crossed it stay connected to Alexa but if not I always have the app. Previous review: 2 stars I bought this because it was supposed to work with Alexa, but it worked for one night and now won’t connect. It’s cute and it’s exactly what I wanted but no Alexa and the remote doesn’t work either. Haven’t tried swapping out the batteries yet. At least my phone is connecting to it. ... show more

I love this lamp. Comes in two pieces, the lamp pole and base. I viewed similar lights online where the pole came in pieces. I love that this is a solid, seamless light. Light options range from dim to bright with colored options to choose from that also dim and brighten. You can face the lamp outwards for a brighter light effect but the light is a little harsh on the eyes that way. Would definitely buy again. ... show more

I had to return this lamp. The lamp worked fine, the light was bright enough for illuminating a corner that we felt was dark. The colored lights are good for ambiance. But the remote didn’t work most of the time. After playing around with pointing the remote at different parts of the lamp, we realized that it works the best if you point it at the base of the lamp, but even then it was not always working. Because the remote doesn’t work, that makes it difficult to change the different colors of the lights because you can only do that through the remote. ... show more

It does not produce a ton of light . It was a soft light - yellow hugh but it was modern and sleek. We did Not frequently used it and now does not work at all. Very disappointed in its short life span
