I received my skillet and have used it. The only complaint I have is the finish is not smooth in the bottom, it’s very porous and rough. Makes it hard to get the spatula under an over easy egg w/o breaking the yolk😔

This is a great fring pan. Cooks evenly. Creates a nice brown crust on meats etc. Like that it has to handles as is heavy, as expected. Like the higher sides as not so much grease splatters. It is at times a little hard to clean if something gets to crispy. But I always spray with a oil after cleaning. Would purchase from this seller again. ... show more

Pan came a smoother surface than most Lodge cast iron pans, plus the trout picture was very nice which was my primary reason for buying this over others. I am very happy with the purchase. I do wish it came with a lid, however.
