The Eden 4-Zone Digital Programmable Water Timer can be easily programmed to water at different times during the day. Each valve operates as a separate water timer to water four separate areas from one faucet. Simply choose what days you want to water, the time of day to water, and how long to water for a customized watering schedule. Hit the manual watering button to water on demand and wash the car or use the rain delay feature to pause the watering schedule when rain is in the forecast. The large, angled LCD display is easy to read, and the raised buttons are easy to press while programming your watering schedule. Set the watering cycle length anywhere from 1 minute up to 6 hours. Water on specific days of the week, every few days, or on demand. Pair the timer with the Eden Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor (model 25417, sold separately) to monitor the moisture level of the soil and prevent overwatering. I love this timer! I only have one spigot but with this 4 zone I am able to water my entire yard front back and side. Each zone is a hose connected to the timer so I ran 4 hoses from one spigot and watered each zone at a different time to be sure I had enough water pressure to handle each zone. Works great!! This timer was easy to program all 4 zones to run at multiple different times per day. However, when I connected it to the hose bib on the house, water was pouring out of port #2. Even though I had it turned off, the water was still pouring out. I reset it hoping it was just a programming error, but it still did the same thing. I'm returning it for a replacement and hope the 2nd one actually works. ************************************************************************************************************************ I'm updating my review after receiving a replacement. When it is working it is great but for no obvious reason it can stop working. I called their support number and they were kind and walked me through a reset that worked. Unfortunately it stopped working during a heat wave and I lost almost everything in the greenhouse.

    • *POS* Waste of Money and Your Time!

I bought 3 of these timers. The programming is easy and straight forward, and received a favorable review on that note. However, the issue was that on each unit, one of more of the shutoff valves were stuck open. I used the "Manual" mode to open and close the valves of all three units, and finally got two of the three to work. However, on one unit, the unused station valve would open randomly, and would not close! I travel for work, and more than once got messages showing photos of the water runoff from an extended period of water flow after a random valve opening. The open valve seemed to reset using the manual function to close it. So, winter came and went. The unit had been stored inside for the season. Fresh batteries were installed, and reprogrammed. One or more of the station valves on all three units were stuck open, and would not close. I have finally given up and removed them from service after less than a full season of operation. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!! ... show more

I have 4 sprinklers in a large garden. This worked great for setting them up on a weekly schedule. There's quite a few options like specific days over every 2/3/4 days etc. Can be set at specific times and for specific amounts of time. It's not super intuitive but the instructions are helpful and once you set it up one time it's not bad. Would recommend rechargeable batteries if using all summer. Uses 4 AA's. ... show more

Took a while to get onto the programming a neighbor helped — now that I got it, it’s easy peasy — the rain delay is easy to set once you realize that when you keep scrolling to add minutes it changes to days — had an unexpected rain last night so the grass got watered again at 6 AM — I did get the sensor but haven’t added it to the programming yet so I can’t comment on it’s reliability or accuracy— have 2 zones set up (front yard and back yard) zone one is the far left outlet — if that’s in the directions I didn’t notice it — when you look at the display it cycles from time of day to next “on” time zone “x” then next on time zone “?” but it does not show all of the programmed times, so after a cycle it then gives you the other time that day if one has been set — bottom line is that you program it and trust that it will do what you told it to do and it does it — no regrets on this purchase ... show more

The Eden company was swift in reaching out to me after my negative review of the digital water timer. The very same day they sent me a form to fill out with the info about the problem and then a real person got back to me the same day with a suggested fix. It worked and can go back to being a happy gardener. I purchased this for the 2022 gardening season and it worked like a charm. Didn't use it Oct-April 2023 and in setting it up for this year's garden, zone 4 is not working. Not very good value for the $75 it cost last year. ... show more

I've bought two of these so far to use with my irrigation system, and I've been really happy with them. Having four valves is really convenient so that I can get all of my lines hooked up in one place. The setup was a little tricky to figure out at first, but once I figured it out, the system is very easy to use and it's easy to make changes to the programs. It allows a lot of flexibility in terms of what you can program. No leaks so far, which has always been the big problem with timers I've used in the past. ... show more
