I bought this for an upcoming trip to northern Europe. I've ordered maybe 10 rain jackets so far trying to find the perfect one. This one is the winner, in spite of it's steep price tag. I was worried that it would feel short in the body since the tall size wasn't available, but it feels good. It's pretty true to size. I'm a size 14-16 (and 5'10" tall) and the XL regular feels good on me. I was hoping that this would have a cinch at the waist, but it actually looks pretty good even without one. It's not too boxy looking like I had worried about. I love that there is no mesh lining inside like some have, which feels scratchy to me. This inner lining is soft. I almost went with a few other jackets that I liked as well, but the mesh lining in theirs was going to bother me too much, and I didn't want to have to always wear long sleeves to protect my arms, so I ultimately decided on this one for comfort and cuteness. The pockets are good, with an inner pocket that holds my large iphone plus. The sleeves are long enough, and it has a decent sized hood, although I wish it were deeper to keep my face more protected. It has all of the things I was looking for. The purple color is amazing, and is one of the reasons I am keeping this one (along with the lining), even at the $149 price tag (which is $100 more than the other ones I have tried out). Hopefully it will hold up well in the rain! EDIT: I've had this coat now for 5 years and it's still my very favorite coat ever! I find myself reaching for this in the winter time as well, even though it's not as warm as some of my other ones are. It's sturdy, keeps the rain off beautifully, is gorgeous (love the purple color) and is super comfortable. I see the price has gone down considerably since the first time I ordered it. I may just order another one in case something happens to my original one, I love it that much!

This was the one perfect item I bought for my trip to Scotland. I am very happy with the fit, the way it looks on me, and the excellent way it performs. It is made very well and, although not really “packable”, I could roll it up nicely and put it in my small backpack. It is a little long on me, reaching just past my knees, but that is my fault - I’m not quite 5’1”.

I bought L tall. I am 5’8” 142 lb Length in good, sleeves a bit longer, but it’s better than short when is raining. Everything now is made for short people, hard to find Tall size, even I am not very tall, regular M or L is too short for me. Good quality, medium light weight. I like it is regular lining inside, not heavy, you can walk in spring- summer rain, or put fleece under the coat in fall rain. Excellent for walking dogs, or just walking after morning coffee, after dinner. The price is right. 5 stars

This is a true raincoat. Not flimsy. Bought for UK weather. Excellent quality and weight. It keeps off the rain, but is still breathable so you don’t sweat. Fits well in the shoulders. Size up if you want to layer with sweaters.

The coat is fabulous EXCEPT for the cheap material the pockets are made with. Why do that? I suppose EB takes shortcuts where they aren't visible, but they lessen the quality and durability of an otherwise wonderful trench. On the plus side, it can be ordered for tall!!! YAY 😁

I like the grey heather color, removable hood, inside pocket, two way zipper, and the fact that it is lightweight and waterproof. However, the fit is a bit awkward. I am a petite(5'1"), slender(114#) person. The size small came down to my knees and the waist is not adjustable, so is a bit snug even before wearing a sweater underneath. It seems to be sized for a 5'7", ultra skinny person. If you are a curvy person and need to size up, I'm thinking the sleeves would be too long. Sadly, I had to return.

I love the trench coat. I bought it for a trip to NYC and it served me well in ice cold and rainy conditions. I easily wore puffy vest layers under it and never felt cold.

This coat is long enough to keep me fully dry during the Seattle rainy season. The look is stylish, only negative is the shoulders are a little tight and I sized up one. But everything else is great! It is light weight and I love the button and zipper options.
