Great value but you can feel the springs in it. The padding on top isn't that thick. I would just get a mattress topper with it. It is for my child that weighs like 60 pounds so it should work fine.

I needed a bed and fast for an upcoming camping trip in the RV. I had a leak and threw away my old bed right before I was to leave on a trip. I wasn't sure what to do but Amazon was able to get this bed to me in like 3 or 4 days. The Fed Ex guy delivered it to my yard the day we were leaving and we carried it down to the camper and threw the box in to hit the road. I didn't know what to expect because I never had a bed that was this cheap before that came in such a small box. I wish that I was there for the unboxing... I was attending a function the night we got there and my fiance came running in a panic. He exclaimed that he thought that the bed almost tore the camper cabinets off the wall. It must have exploded into shape right when he cut the last cord on the packaging. I don't usually see him that animated but it was hilarious for him to be that worked up about anything. He said that the people outside the camper probably thought that he was shooting a gun off in the camper. He said that each spring made a really loud popping sound as it unrolled. The bed is definitely comfortable enough for the camper for the handful of times that I will get to sleep on it. I like that it is not as thick as some of the mattresses that we have in other places because I will likely be moving it around when I remodel the camper. You can definitely tell that there are springs in the bed when you are crawling across it on your knees but it has enough padding over them while you are sleeping to not notice. I feel like it is supportive and firm enough but not too hard to be uncomfortable. I previously had a tempurpedic style for a few years and I'm definitely back to preferring a spring-style mattress if I had the choice. Overall for the quickness of shipping and the cost, I would purchase it again. I think that if I drove to my local discount store (like thinking Big Lots?) to try to buy a bed, it would have definitely cost more than this one... and it wouldn't have been any more comfortable. ... show more

I wanted to wait a little bit before I reviewed the mattress. Get over the phase of transition from the old one to the new one, and see for sure how the mattress affects my sleep quality. I can't even tell you how much I love this mattress. I use to be tired all the time, I had back pain so bad that I could barely stand for long. My energy level is getting better and better each day as I get a MUCH better quality sleep than I was before. I look forward to going to bed now, instead of avoiding it as much as I could. My back pain has significantly improved!!! The mattress is so thick and soft! I sink right in and am out like a light. That never happens for me! I have insomina! This mattress is the most uncomfortable mattress. I bought it for my 4 year old, and the coils are so hard you feel each one when laying down. He said he wants a new bed. It’s also very loud. When me and his father try to sneak out after laying with him, he always knows because it’s squeaky and bouncy. Look further.
