This is a very sturdy unit, it seems way overbuilt. Metal, design, hardware, and the paint\coating are all top notch. I did need to drill a couple holes for the lateral brackets. The whole set up took a bit to sort out as the images in the instructions were not clear. I expect that this accessory will last longer than my garden mower. It does give enough good options for ball height adjustment as well.

This thing is surprisingly well built for 30 bucks. The adjustability is worth the extra 10 bucks or so compared to the cheaper alternative. Instructions are pretty useless and I was missing one washer, but not that big of a deal. Makes pulling my jet ski from behind my garage so much easier with the mower.

This is a sturdy product. Installed on a Cub Cadet and affirm to leave the main bolt loose and then attach side brackets and keep them loose. Then tighten side brackets and then main bolt. It will fit without having to drill holes. Was missing a bracket on the initial delivery and sent an email to manufacturer for support but no response. Instructions are not good. You will have to figure which bolts, nuts, and washers to use in certain locations. Definately worth the money. Pulled a 4x8 trailer around the yard so I didn't have to do it manually.

I mounted this with no modifications or drilling on an older, craftsman LT2000 mower. I was able to mount it using existing holes on the back of my mower. The only change I made was on one of the lateral supports (see pics). I needed keep my bagger unit operable while having a hitch like this one. I was able to use both brackets mounted towards the left side of mower with no issues and minimal added hardware I had available. The hitch is solid and I have zero concerns pulling the log splitter and a few trailers around the property. I've got the old style, 2 bag, bagging unit on my mower and the hitch does not interfere with it at all. I simply remove the bags, leave the bagger lid in place and hook up to the hitch. Well worth the money. A bit less than a hour to attach it. Hope this helps.

Manufacturing quality seems good and strong, paint appears good. Installation is straight forward and pretty simple. I too had to drill two holes in the backplate of my JD X350 to mount the two upper, angled support braces.
