    • My baby loves this
The mobile is really cute and our baby loves it. If you need a quick bathroom break you can put him in the crib and turn on the mobile and it will delight him until you get back. He demands it before naps and loves to watch it. Theoretically, it's good for baby's visual development, but mostly as a tired parent you will just appreciate that you have something the kid loves for when you need to go wash a giant glob of poop off your shirt, or sit in your chair gripping your now-cold tea and quiver from exhaustion. Not only won't it hurt him to take 5 minutes with the mobile, he will enjoy it. It plays short snippets from ~10 songs at a fast tempo. One advantage of that is that you can stop the song and then lift the kid out, and then you can keep singing the song. I do this a lot with "Old Macdonald [Had a Farm]" and it makes it so he isn't as upset when you take him away from the mobile, turn off the light to reduce distractions, and then sing him to sleep. If I had one constructive criticism, it would be that I can't run the mobile without the music. There's a volume control, but you can't set it to silent, which seems to me to be a silly design flaw.     • easy assembly but lullabies are too short and fast
It's usually hard for me to focus and read directions to build anything. My husband does everything but he was busy at the time and I have a really fussy baby, so I built this in 10 minutes (had to re-do it because I forgot to install the smaller arm into the base with the larger arm, I thought I had an extra piece lol) and I'm satisfied with how it looks in the nursery. One irk is that the 12 lullabies are really short, high-pitched, and are played at a fast tempo. I wish it played the songs slower, but it's cute. Also the leaves came in super wrinkly and even trying to press them down, they're still kind of frayed from being folded inside the box. ... show more

This mobile is louder than others I have had in the oast but it’s super cute and durable. Battery life seems to be the same as similar mobiles out there and easy to set up

Assemble quickly, looks cute, but the music is high pitched and it won't play just 1 lullaby, it cycles through them

Only spins when music is turned on. I personally wish it would spin without music. Material of palm leaves is lower/different quality than the animals. Overall very cute for my safari themed nursery!
