I purchased these for a south and east facing bedroom that gets too much morning sun in summer. The shades are effective at keeping the room dark. On the downside, raising them can only be done by folding each pleat and reclipping at the desired level. At $12 for two, the price is right.

The good news, once you figure out a way to hang it it's great. The bad, it was a challenge to get it to hang. There is sticky tape at the top so you can stick it to the window frame. Bought an expandable curtain rod. Stuck the shade to it. It fell off in 12 hours. Used duck tape to stick the shade to the rod. It works great now. It's been up and taken down multiple times and is still on the rod. Took some work but if you can get it to stay up it'll work well. ... show more
