This adjustable stand is such a great accessory for the Echo Show 5! It seems like a simple addition, but it makes a big difference in how easy the screen is to use and view. I really like the adjustable design because I can position the Echo Show at a much better viewing angle instead of having it sit flat on the counter or table. It’s especially convenient when using the screen for recipes, video calls, timers, music, or checking information from across the room. The USB-C charging port is another great feature. It keeps the charging setup convenient and helps eliminate some of the cable clutter that can happen when the device is sitting on a countertop. The Glacier White finish also looks clean and modern and blends nicely with other smart-home devices and décor. I particularly like this for a kitchen counter, bedside table, desk, or nightstand, where being able to adjust the viewing angle makes the Echo Show much more useful. Overall, this is a simple, practical, well-designed accessory that makes the Echo Show 5 easier to position and use. Cute little Alexa Show. Easy to set up and I love the soft blue color. I was using the original "show" device, and even though the screen on this one is smaller, I like that the unit overall is way smaller and I can just set it on the shelf at eye level. I also bought the stand which let's me angle the screen. Really love this little version and the price is just right!

I've always been against all things Alexa (privacy, etc.), same with all things Google (oh so much with Google). I'm extremely tech savvy and have been for 40 years... so it's not that I don't understand technology, instead it's that I understand it a bit too much to be comfortable with the loss of anonymity and oh so much more. That being said, it's not like any of us aren't or can't be tracked in countless other ways in this day and age (sadly and uncomfortably), so I finally broke down and bought 2 of these Echo's and I've got to say... WOW, game changer, life changer. I'm still learning some of the ins and outs, and I'm not paying for a subscription, but even without paying for anything, just the ability to see my orders on Amazon, track them to some degree, the music that's included, shopping lists, pairing the 2 so that the one upstairs and downstairs both mirror each other - all of it, total game changer. Quality of the device it's is excellent as is the sound! While paired each of the 2 only use 1 speaker and the sound quality is phenomenal even with 1 speaker! Installation was cake (though if you've been avoiding all things in this arena for as long as I have, you may want to play around with and don't rush yourself to learn all of the settings in a second or even 1 days, just get your privacy setup as quick as possible lol, I started playing with reminders, routines and alarms all at time, and too quickly, and then had to reset and start anew - I had way too much going on without a full understanding (again, I read nothing lol). It's very sturdy, but I did also buy the stands for them, which I can also say is a game changer - I wouldn't like them without the stands, the stands help get it off the furniture, make it look more sleek and allow you to put it into any direction you like (I definitely recommend the stands - unsure why they aren't sold with them, in my opinion they should be). It looks great, it's compact enough to fit anywhere, but not too small where you can't see it - adjustment ability is a little tricky until you get/learn the right touch, which I become better at each day. All in all I think these are GREAT. *** Note: If you're an iPhone user as I am, it might take a few days to learn your Hey Siri from your Alexa LOL. That took a few days and I laughed through it all, I now feel like I'm either cheating on, or broke up with Siri lol. I definitely recommend these little game changers!

I tried so hard to like this product, but I couldn't get the device to recognize my Amazon account. I've been with Amazon when all Bezos sold was books, 2001. I had set up the device through the email sent the day before I received the echo. When I received the echo, I follow3d the prompts to select my language, put in my pw for my network and that's as far as I could get. I could never get beyond either manually setting up the echo or using a QR code. For one, I never received a QR code either via email or setting up manually the device didn't see or recognize my Amazon account. I even reset my Amazon pw just to be sure, no luck. I even unplugged and plugged back in the device numerous times. I called Amazon and the CSR tried to help. Unfortunately, her thick ethnic accent was my tipping point to just send back the echo. I couldn't understand her. I tried. I asked her to repeat so many times. She would talk slower. Didn't help. I took the device to a UPS store that evening. I had to call Amazon back to get a refund on the squaretrade protection. The representative was very helpful. He had a ethnic accent but I understood him at all times. I even explained my earlier experience with the CSR agent. He even wanted to assist me in setting up my echo, but I had taken it back already. I wished I had him earlier. For the month of June, I've had to call Amazon 4 times. Three of the 4 times I was transferred to an agent that had such a thick ethnic accent, that I didnt feel I had been helped.
