Amazing Display and Sound Quality I’m really impressed with the new Amazon Echo Show 11! The 11-inch Full HD display is bright, clear, and gives you plenty of viewing space. The picture quality looks great, and the spatial audio makes music and videos much more enjoyable. I also love how convenient it is for everyday use. I bought the Echo Show 11 during Prime Day, and it has been an excellent addition to our kitchen. The 11-inch display is fantastic—large, bright, and easy to see from across the room, which makes it perfect for checking information, news, or smart home controls while cooking. I use it as a central hub for many of our smart home devices, and it makes controlling everything much more convenient. We also use it for news, music, weather, and other Alexa features throughout the day. Everyone in the family uses it and enjoys it. The larger screen really makes a difference, and overall it’s been a great product and a great Prime Day purchase. Highly recommended!

I am not sure why there would be any negative reviews with regard to the Echo Show 11. It isn’t perfect but it sure is a tremendous value. I have been using my iPad Pro for kitchen entertainment but the speakers are not great and I don’t love exposing it to the various hazards a kitchen creates. The Show 11 is priced at $180 now and has an upgrade offer that took it all the way down to $116. This is a ridiculously good piece of tech for that money. First, the sound is really good. It is basically a beefy Amazon speaker with a tablet bolted onto it. The sound can fill a medium sized room, has great bass, and sounds way better than most stand alone $100 BT speakers I have used. It found my Spotify account from my prior Alexa usage so it was truly plug and play. The screen was an area I was concerned about given that I was coming from an iPad Pro. Honestly, I am stunned to report that the picture and video quality of the Show is impressive. I don’t think anyone will be upset watching videos or a show on this. It doesn’t appear to have automatic brightness which I found odd but I cranked it up a bit from how it came and it is all good. Perhaps, it’s there and I will update as I go. The Show 11 software has some cracks in it. I have had multiple Fire devices including TVs and I have never been a huge fan of their OS. The good news here is that you really don’t need to interact with it a lot. You can just tell Alexa to pretty much do anything and it will. Alexa+ is a surprisingly handy AI and is a welcome addition to this device. In fact, I would say that the Show 11 is the kind of device that is really made to take advantage of an AI in their current infancy stages. Alexa is able to listen to and execute complex steps. Turn on the living room light at 50% brightness or turn on the fire tv and put on ESPN. It’s pretty great and no need for swipes or any real OS interaction. The camera and video quality for video calls or quick pics is also pretty good and the camera can track you for a zoom. It isn’t amazing but plenty good enough. I will just say this about this device: Amazon tech can be pretty hit or miss for me. This is a home run especially when you bring the value proposition it presents into it. Truly amazing for the money. If you are looking for an entertainment companion for any room in your home, this is a great choice. I would not hesitate to buy another or recommend it to a friend or family member. Great work here Amazon. **UPDATE** I have had this device for a number of months now and I thought it was time for a general update. Before I get to that, I thought I should also add that I installed a Ring Doorbell this week and the integration is awesome. The Ring app asks of you want to merge Alexa and Ring. Then simply go to your Show and hit the devices button. Your Ring will be there live under cameras. You can interact fully with the camera right from the Show. Pretty great. In terms of general update, I love having this device in my kitchen. From watching shows or listening to music while cooking to asking questions about scheduling or weather, it’s all there in a pinch. Just a great partner to have in your home and a gigantic value. Continue to recommend over here.

I bought the newest Amazon Echo Show 8 because I realized I really needed one in my living room and dining room. Before this, I was trying to control most of my Alexa devices from the Echo in my bedroom, and it got annoying when I was relaxing, eating, or just moving around the main part of the house. Having this one nearby makes everything feel easier and more natural, especially when I want to control lights, check the time, play music, or ask Alexa something without having to walk back to the bedroom or raise my voice. The 8.7-inch HD display is bright and easy to read from across the room, which I appreciate when I’m passing through, checking reminders, seeing photos, or glancing at the time. The spatial audio sounds better than I expected for the size, and it fills the living room and dining room area nicely for music, videos, and Alexa responses. What I like most is that it makes my smart-home setup feel more connected and convenient instead of limited to one room. It looks clean and modern, doesn’t take up much space, and has quickly become one of those devices I use more than I thought I would. Overall, I’m really happy with it because it makes the main area of my home easier to control, more functional, and more polished.

I've owned several versions of the show device over the years. The original Echo Show 10 being the best one for sound but got slow. The 2nd gen Echo show 10 was terrible...always turning itself and constantly hanging.....audio was horrible as well a significant downgrade from the original Echo Show 10. I took a chance on this device as I thought it couldn't possibly be any worse than the 2nd Gen Show 10. Amazon allowed me to trade in the old one for $30 and gave me 20% off so I was able to get this one right around $100. First impression.....it tried to upgrade all Amazon devices to Alex + immediately......not a fan of Alexa + as it screws up the news feeds I watch and makes a horrible mess of the news it delivers. It seems more interested in gathering what I say instead of helping me so I would rather stick with old Alexa AI. It sits low......if its on your kitchen counter you will probably will need a stand so it can be elevated and swiveled. The screen may be bigger but its unnoticeable. The audio says its upgraded from Show 10 Gen 2.....that is true....but its still not on par with Gen 1. Has bugs.......doesn't like to play my local news stations in the morning and results in a black screen and lag.....often has to be unplugged to reboot (I would imagine that improves with updates). They removed the camera shutter in this version.......you can turn it off via a software toggle but no way I trust that so you will need a stick on camera shutter. Considerably faster than Gen 2. With Amazon recently closing their OS I have disconnected most Amazon related devices from my network. Honestly I am not sure why I bother with this product......If someone was to make something like this on a more open platform or portal that allowed you to connect to a NAS or actual video services that people watch this thing would be retired permanently. As is....Amazon has a limited selection of apps that you can use and most are subpar designed to skim your info and sell you something. This is used to get weather information and independent news updates (hard to do with what's provided). Sometimes recipes and the occasional song that Amazon Music allows me to play without harassing me. I also enjoy the live video local news stations in the morning. The thing that keeps this plugged in is the verbal ability to turn on/off the Christmas tree and outdoor lights every year. Bottom line for me...with the trade in of the Gen 2 and price range its a significant upgrade. It fixes a lot of things that were frustrating about the Gen 2 but at the end of the day its still an Amazon platform designed for profit 1st. Update 8-2026. Sadly, I spoke too soon. When you touch a recipe it does nothing....when you ask it a question it listens but does nothing.......it takes repeated attempts to play a video when telling it play 9news. It constantly force closes. The sound is good when Amazon music actually plays the music you want and isn't busy trying to upgrade you but I can get that with a bluetooth speaker. Perhaps the loss in functionality is due to downgrading from Alexa +. One thing it does do well with consistency is display ads......go figure. Maybe Amazon will fix it but if you ask them its probably working as designed. This is approaching junk status quickly...I would not recommend this device. 9/10...downgrading to 1 star. This thing is terrible. Doesn't do anything other than background listen and provide ads. Its now turned off.

Well, it's pretty good. I upgraded from an Echo Show 5 because I feel like the room that it's in is large enough to warrant a larger display, which I can see more clearly from further away. It does this, though I feel like I should have gone with the 11, but that is my own fault. The screen does look really good, clear, and vibrant. It also sounds a whole lot better than the Echo Show 5. It is also easy to use and so far seems durable. My problem come with some of it quirky glitches and bugs. For example, it rotates through some pictures, but sometimes it gets stuck on a picture for a long, long time. Sometimes it gets stuck on a blue screen that just seems like a default wallpaper. Sometimes it even goes into night mode when it isn't within the time that I scheduled to do that. Before you say anything, I turned off the light sensor. Sometimes it even pops up with a reminder and just displays the reminder, but doesn't actually say it. A few times I've asked Alexa to show one of my Ring cameras, and it says that it's doing it, and I can hear noises coming from the camera through the Echo Show 8's speakers, but it just displays a blurry image, not the actual video. This could be an issue with Ring, though, so take that as you will. Also, I can't find a way to get it to SHOW me a camera view but not have sound, even if I physically use the buttons to turn the device's volume all the way down. Maybe I'm dumb, but I can't figure out how to do what seems like a straightforward thing to do. All in all I really like the device, I just wish they'd fix these kinds of glitches, which seem like things that COULD be fixed with a few updates. Also, if you have a larger room, get the 11. I wish I had gotten the 11. I will regret that I didn't. Update: After a few months with this thing, I just wanted to say that I may not have purchased this if I could do this over again. My main reason for saying this is that this device basically becomes a billboard for ads. When it shows the pictures on there, it looks really nice but more often than not when I look over at the device, it’s just a freaking ad. I basically paid them my own money for them to advertise to me. And that just doesn’t seem fair.

This Echo Show is awesome! I use it mainly for ring camera display when motion is detected. The display screen is crystal clear and allows for detailed viewing, as much as the camera resolution allows. Then, I just asked Alexa to play music. I was blown away by the sound. Everything, from bass to treble is perfectly clear. I am very pleased with this purchase.

traded in old one for this. this one has better sound and much faster - actually a usable screen. it did have some audio issues at first, Alexa helped me fix it. it is now reliable and seems to be a very good upgrade for us.
