I absolutely love my Echo Show. It fits so perfectly on my kitchen counter. High quality, great customer service. It makes me feel like I have a personal recipe book, concert, newscaster right there with me. I love that it recognizes who’s in the room by our voice recognition as well as facial recognition . Alexa was made for an AI age and amazon is doing it right ! Great sound on it, great picture on it. Super easy to control. Love that it links with my phone and other alexa devices! Worth every penny!

I have been using Echo devices for many years. The Echo Show 11 by far is the best of the rest. Response time is super quick. Displays security camera feeds without hesitation. Screen Display is super sharp. Voice is very clear along with text displayed across the screen. Device control of 48 smart home devices operates without a glitch. Amazon with Alexa+ has produced an excellant product.

Purchased the Echo Show 11 to replace an Echo Show 8 2nd gen. We were already receiving Alexa plus, so no change there. Read about the AI information capturing goals with Echo devices using 'Plus' because nothing is free. I can live with it. Lots of silly (to me) complaints in the reviews, but I don't upgrade every time an updated product comes out, so maybe I'm looking at things differently. Just like the early days of Alexa, there's a few bugs to work out. An update was already set to download during install. Does anybody remember trying to log on to AOL in the 90s? We've come a long way in a short time. I'm sure there will be more updates coming in an ever evolving ecosystem. Purchased a pack of black camera covering stickers for a buck that will last forever to tackle the now missing physical camera switch. Also read about the notable differences between the new 8 and 11. They're different in more than just size. Chose the 11 because of the larger size, and it offered more bang for the buck tech wise, especially coming from the 2nd gen 8. Took only a few minutes to plug in and transfer stored data to the 11 and complete the update. Never cared for the clunky older design, so the new design is a plus for me. Once set up, with the upsell base purchase of course, it looks pretty clean and modern. It's all screen, can't see the speaker/back looking head on. Video is much more vivid and the sound is good, really notice the increase in bass. We have a big screen/entertainment system downstairs and a stereo system upstairs, so this isn't a replacement for a quality sound system. It's fine for watching a show and listening to music in the kitchen, the speakers are focused toward the room the Echo is in and don't blast throughout the house, so I can rock out and bake at 5am while others are sleeping down the hall. The new 11 operates like the older Echo models, but better size, design, sound, and video. Plenty of info online if you want to compare old to new, or the 8 and 11. Will be upgrading our other two 8s now that I've had a chance to try this model out.
