Bought this scooter for my father who is no longer driving. He needed an easier way to run quick errands to the store and post office during COVID without using Uber or public transportation. Walking long distances isn't as easy for him now that he's 76. This scooter worked out perfectly!! He can get it up and down his stairs when he needs to go out and it's small enough to ride directly into the small neighborhood store he frequents. The only accessory we needed to buy was a basket to go on the front his bags. I would highly recommend this for anyone who doesn't need a big full size medical scooter. yes it had a liiile getting use to as it is different handeling and no arm rests or basket. found it to heavy to load by hand when folded, but ii i ezer to load with seat and handle folded and is not as heavy that way and after it is in the car it is ez to finish folding it and takes up les room for other stuff on a trip. been useing it now for a few weeks now . I have 2 shoprider echo 3 scooters and like them as well . can take it apart when loading it ant it also is ez but the cart takes up much more room. but also can be up ended to allow more room for other things. bottom line rely like both scooters for the simplisity and lite . t bacoccini ... show more

Who needs a key when one can easily lock the unit folded. The unit is powerful, fast, easily handles inclines. The speed control is welcome. Sturdy, tough and balanced. I am 225 lbs and have no issue with the unit. I must be conscious of the balance in a tight turn at my weight. This scooter does not have a key so if you leave it unattended don't be surprised if it's not where you left it when you come back. Definitely would NOT recommend this unit.
