The price was right and the reviews were good and the product looks great. After receiving the Magnetic Rowing machine the assembly was only a little challenging. The first pull on the row bar gave a really loud scraping noise. Obviously, something was wrong. The seller could only be contacted through Amazon returns. Turns out the flywheel was misaligned, probably during shipping, and impacting the back cover. I contacted the seller for help with the problem, and they responded quickly and offered a couple of solutions. It took a while to repair but I am happy with the solution. Yes, I recommend this Row machine.

This is a quality rower. I wanted a rower that supported a full rowing motion but also wanted magnetic resistance due to low noise. This machine provided both. It is quiet and ergonomical. It is one of the only machines I found with adjustable feet positions. I have it on the wide setting with adds more comfortability for a heavier set person as myself. Setting it up was very easy, just a couple screws. I reached out to the company and they responded quickly and were very supportive. Great for a beginner.

My rowing machine just arrived today, quicker than suggested. I put it together in literally a couple minutes as it came mostly put together. It is very quiet when in use and seems to me that it will be a great full body workout. So far I would highly suggest this rowing machine, especially at this price point.

This review is for the Echanfit Wood Magnetic Rower and not the metallic one. I really looked forward to this rower. Assembly was easy and I think it's one of the best looking wood rowers you can buy. The price was spot on in my budget. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I sat down on the seat, adjusted foot positions, set the mag resistance, pulled and.....the bar and strap didn't retract into the machine (see photo). I got on Amazon and clicked Problem, described the issue, and 2 days later get a message from the manufacture via Amazon asking me to send them a video of the problem which I did. The note also said: "Don't worry, we are a professional after-sales team, we will certainly help you solve the problem, if it can be repaired, we will try our best to help you repair, if the repair is not good, we can issue you a new treadmill or refund you, which solution do you prefer? In both cases you do not need to send the product back. Looking Forward to your replyBest Regards" Hmmm....Anyway I opted for the replacement option since I liked it so much. After waiting a couple of days. I got this response: "Hello, sorry for our late reply. We sent the video you sent to us to our technical department for analysis immediately , and they suggested that we apply a refund for you. Therefore, in order to make up for your loss, we are willing to give you a full refund. Are you willing to accept this solution? Looking forward to your reply Best Regards" Well I accepted the refund. I figured if their Tech Dept. couldn't fix it then there must be a serious issue with the machine. On the good side I will say the refund happend fast and I didn't have to box up the whole thing and send 50lbs of worthless rower back to them. Hate to trash the rower but will salvage the nice wood :-) Update 2/18/24: Before I decided to trash the rower and recycle it's metal and wood, I opened up the main body of the rower to see if I could fix it. What I found was the metal spring/coil responsible for rewinding the rower bar back into the housing had snapped clean off from the central hub it was attached to. It didnt detach, it actually broke. This coil was some heavy duty steel and I was really surprised to see it that it could break. I thought hmm...maybe I can remove that small broken piece then reinsert the coil back into it's retaining slot. Big mistake, that grease laden coil came flying out of it's housing and unraveled all over my living room :-). At this point glad I didn't get a replacement rower. There seems to be a flaw in the design. Even if it had worked initially I'm afraid that spring would've snapped after time. FYI y'all.

It arrived in a timely manner. The instructions were okay, but it was more an intuitive trial and error process. The rope was not on the track/wheel. Fortunately, by my drill with a Philips head bit got the harder screws off and I was able to fix it. It is good for my upper body, but I feel like I would get a different machine if I had the opportunity to buy it again with higher resists for my legs. It is nice looking and seems sturdy enough a couple days into using it. I would buy it if I had knee problems and wanted a moderate workout. I think it would work really well for that. I hope it holds up in the long term!

I love the machine. Easy assembly. Love that it folds! Definitely a full body workout! Great cardio as well as toning. Just wondering if I can add sand to the water later for more intensity, when I get to that point!

The rollers on the seat are plastic. After about 6 months of use, they started to disintegrate. I have tried to get a replacement part, but they haven't any (for other a month).
