Let me first say. I'm an entry-level rider with very little mountain bike experience. I live in a medium-sized neighborhood; I wanted a bike to ride in the neighborhood and do occasional off-road riding. A bike that offered very good stability and control. I have never assembled a bike before, but I was able to assemble this one quite easily. The instructions were a bit confusing, because instructions are included for several different versions of the bike, but once I acclimated to which instructions were applicable to me, it wasn't very hard. Assembly really only entailed attaching the handlebars, seat and pedals, and front wheels. All of the gear mechanism was already assembled, but you can adjust it according to your needs（I recommend you watch the video on YouTube）. This is the second one of these I bought as my 13 years old daughter needed to move up a size. These bikes are great. The shipping was thoroughly boxed and wrapped. All the needed tools were included along with extras. My wife has the red one. My 13-year-old has the black/orange one. And when it comes time, my currently 7-year-old will get her choice. First off the directions that were in the pack had NOTHING to do with this bike. Like not even close. Took me a bit to figure out how to get the front tire on with the disc brakes. But then I went to air up the tires because they were low. The front had some air in it so it went right up. The back was flat so I hooked up the pump and it would only get so far then as soon as I released the air pump lever, the tire went immediately flat. Yeah it came with a blown tire. The tire has a cut in it! Only the inner tube so it was done at the factory. I was looking forward to a nice ride but now I have to get a new tube. ... show more
