I gave it 4 stars for the comfort. I ordered a brown chair and got a kind of brown one. It's more of a gray color than brown. I ordered it for my husband who is 6ft tall and ended up using for myself. He was way too tall for this chair. I wanted to surprise him with a new recliner and was very disappointed when he sat in it. The size of this chair is more for a smaller person. The quality seems to be good so far. The fabric is very soft and the stuffing is adequate. It was super easy to put together. I have tile floors and it slides around when you sit down. It needs to have some rubber on the feet to prevent that. ... show more

Received the recliner 2 days early! Expected 1/11, received 1/09. Assembly super easy. Plenty of cushion on arms rests and back. Seat was a little stiff, but can tell once it’s used a few times, it will loosen up and be nice and cushiony. Only thing keeping me from saying perfect is that my feet hang off the foot rest when fully reclined. Of they have the correct measurements on the site, so I should have known. I purchased this chair as my retirement gift to myself. I saw how big and comfy it looked and just imagined myself cuddling in it. When it came early I was elated. It was easy to put together even though the three pieces were miss labeled I got it together. But the problem came in when those pieces kept falling off. I put them back they would fall off. Even the connection to elevate the chair wouldn’t stay connected. I wanted to return it but it was too bulky to return so I finally had to superglue the pieces together so that I could enjoy the chair. BEWARE ... show more

This is a review on a replacement chair that was sent by the company. The original was destroyed by the delivery company (Fe__X), literally destroyed, which included the shipping box. Upon contact with the company, without hesitation they sent out a replacement chair immediately. The original could not be returned and that was no problem. The chair went together in minutes. This one if for my wife. She is 5' 8" and weighs 150. We are both in our 70s. She will be having knee surgery in a couple of weeks, so we wanted a recliner that was electrically operated, foot and back control not lifting. She loves this chair. It is wide and very comfortable. Motor operations are absolutely silent, smooth and fairly quick. I tested this out too. I'm 6' tall and weigh 235. It is actually pretty comfortable for me. Yes, my feet hang over and my head is a bit higher than the back, but that is to be expected. This is not for someone of my height, but as to weight, it was great. I'm a vine reviewer, but I paid for this item. I will return to this review in a few months to give an update, thus I gave this 4 stars to begin with. The updated review my change this.
