  • So Far, So Good
Size: 10 oz Color: Silver
This espresso pot is a little more expensive than most, but I gave it a try. It is all stainless steel and the lid is made of stainless steel as well, which is nice, since some are just made with cheap plastic. With that said, it looks very beautiful, sleek and modern on the stove. Because it is so heavy, it does take longer to brew. What helps is using very hot water at the base to expedite the process. The flavor is decent enough. It is not the easiest to clean, but then none of them are. I hope it holds up. ... show more

  • Easyworkz Diego Moka Pot Review
Size: 17.5 oz Color: Black
This is a really nice moka pot. The principle on how they work is same across brands. The differences is in the smaller features and materials. Pros: Larger size. Says 12 cup, which is the largest I have seen. These cups are expresso sized cups. It makes like 1.5 regular/large sized cups. I really like the black colored base. I dislike seeing discoloration on a stainless base. Some people however like the used look. The lid has a small knob rather than a flip tab for thumb. Seems a bit thicker and sits snug in the pot. This could be a pro or con depending on your preference. For me it was a pro so my thumb doesnt accidently pop the lid up. Cleaning: These moka pots I feel are much easier to clean than my French Presses. Once all coffee has brewed and you are ready to clean it out, just twist off the top and the grounds can be easily popped out and either thrown away or composted. Pressure release valve: The valve on this one is slightly different than my previous pot with no moving part. So far, I have never had this feature come into play. Handle: Nice handle that stays cool even after brewing. It is similar to my French press. I did however like the rubberized, ergonomic handle on another brand of moka pot I owned slightly better but, not a big enough deal to not want me to purchase this pot. Overall, I am very happy with the size, quality of the pot. It makes a good cup of coffee if you are using good water and freshly burr ground beans. Enjoy! ... show more

  • Easy to use and makes great coffee
Size: 6.8 oz Color: Silver
I wanted to get a stovetop espresso machine, but did not want an aluminum one. I found this stainless steel one and it's great for my needs. It looks nice, and is relatively easy to clean. The coffee comes out tasting good, and is strong without being bitter. At first I was using it wrong and the coffee was too weak - I was putting the reduction plate on top of the ground coffee. The reduction plate is only if you want to make a very small amount of coffee (you put it in first before the coffee), and this size already just makes one espresso. I put the reduction plate away and will probably never use it. It's normal for some water to be left in the bottom at the end. You can turn it off shortly after it starts making steaming noises, because it's mostly finished at that point. ... show more

  • Love it
Size: 17.5 oz Color: Black
I have used this type of coffee maker for 30 years and this is the best one yet. Nice looking, 12-cup, and the handle doesn’t get hot. Solidly made. Makes delicious coffee! Better than the one I had for a number of years.

  • Good coffee, hard to clean
Size: 10 oz Color: Silver
I went to a stainless pot because I am not convinced that aluminum is totally safe. It works really well for making great coffee. With that being said, it is a bugger to keep clean. There is like a moat on the inside top piece that goes around the center coffee strainer.. Makes it hard to keep the side clean. I have trouble getting the top to screw on the base, but with some trial and error I can make it work. Would I purchase again? Certainly. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
Size: 17.5 oz Color: Black
I have a fancy Jura machine, it makes great espresso but is a pain to refill & clean if you want to make much more than a shot or two. I bought this Moka on a whim, looking for a drip coffee alternative that would be easy to use, clean, & store. So far, it has produced some of the best coffee I’ve ever made a home…. & better than a lot of my local coffee shops (IMHO). I fill it with hot water from the tap, toss it on the simmer burner the stove (high-med/high) & set a timer for 12mins. When I come back I have about 2-3 mins more before it starts gurgling. Comes out perfect. If it takes much longer than 15 mins, the grounds were overfilled - in my experience. I don’t think I’d call it espresso (plenty on the internet say the same) but it’s a strong, very flavorful, cup of coffee. I wish I knew about this pot before xmas this year so I could gift it to some big coffee drinkers I know. I see some worry about the sturdiness of the lid hinge & I would tend to agree. Do your best not to put pressure on it. Otherwise, seems extremely well made. Comments about whether or not it’s stainless have neglected the metal composition requirements for induction cooking- look it up. ... show more

  • The best Moka Pot I've used
Size: 17.5 oz Color: Silver
I've owned and tried more than enough versions of the Moka Pot from the traditional, original aluminum ones to cheaper stainless steel ones and everything in between. This is the best designed, great working Moka pots out there. No plastic handles that still get hot and in getting the biggest version I have options to brew the same smaller amount as the original to a larger capacity, stronger giant cup of coffee. This is absolutely my new favorite. Some of the other reviewers have shown the magnetic base section and complained about it not being "real" stainless steel. It has more iron content so that it can be used on an induction stove. Without the iron (ferrous) material that would not work. It also gives it more substance for heating on all other stove types. The only complaint I can think of is the flimsy hinge for the lid, but honestly that isn't that big of a deal. ... show more

  • Really good
Size: 10 oz Color: Silver
I've used 3 different classic style espresso makers. This one is totally different. I had 3 cup espresso pots and I ordered the 6. It takes a lot longer to make the coffee. At first I was skeptical because of all the Chinese tags. But after getting used to it. The coffee this thing makes is off the rails. It's soooo smooth compared to the classic style. I have a feeling it's due to the stainless and long stem that's inside. Has to be double the length of the 3 cup. Anyway, it's really great. I make the cheapest espresso, cafe bustillo, taste like illy. I love this coffee pot I recommend people to try it. ... show more
