This is a very nice bike for the price. Seal bearing parts, nice tires, nice finishes on the frame and fork. Light weight. Hard to beat. The only thing is that he seat angle does not pivot. But it doesn't matter as I was going to replace the seat, seat-post anyways. Recommend this bike, especially for a beginner starting out. ... show more

The bike is nice, durable, and easy to assemble. Our only complaint is that the break doesn’t grip the wheels to bring the bike to a stop. Attempted several adjustments with no luck. We will need to buy a new break or transfer the breaks off an older bike to ensure our son is safe while riding.

Disappointing Experience with Eastern BikesI recently purchased a bicycle from Eastern Bikes as a Christmas gift for my son, and the entire experience left me thoroughly disappointed. The product I received appeared dirty and used, far from the quality I expected for a brand new purchase. What exacerbated my disappointment was the company's inability to address the issue and make the situation any better. Despite reaching out for assistance, the resolution process was ineffective, and I felt unsatisfied with the lack of effort to rectify the situation. This experience has not only tarnished my perception of Eastern Bikes but also impacted the joy of giving a special Christmas gift to my son. Got for my son's 11th Bday. The bike definitely looks cool. The non-adjustable seat is a negative. I ended up switching it out with my son's old bike seat. There were a handful of missing parts (nuts mostly). Luckily I was able to poach those as well with parts from an older bike. The manual is global for Eastern, meaning it's for all their bike models. Setup up is a little confusing since the steps may or may not match your model. For example, some parts may already be installed, or not apply to your model. Some adjustments you'll have to fiddle with and work through on your own. I have some experience working on bikes so this wasn't a huge deal, but I could see it being an issue for others. ... show more
